omg you're right! Neelix even said in Caretaker that they wash with "a sand scrub" instead of a bath

LOVED Garrett's impression of Janeway offering the fancy water choices! That made me chuckle so much

I so enjoy the podcast, particularly when you provide insight on the technical aspects of shooting the episode. Respectfully, I find Garrett’s constant Janeway impersonations irritating, and believe they lean towards mockery of Kate Mulgrew and her performance. It’s clear that you love doing them, but I can’t imagine I’m the only one that is really turned off by them. I’d be curious to know how Kate Mulgrew feels about them?

There's one particular panel I distinctly remember watching on youtube recently (but the panel itself was from a few years ago), and Garrett did an impression of the doctor and Kate Mulgrew chimed in with "DO ME, DO ME", meaning for him to do his impression of her to the audience. I've also heard her joke in other panels that his impersonation is why he's still an ensign (jokingly of course), so I imagine just from those specific instances that she isn't too bothered by it, if at all.

This episode features one of my favorite Star Trek Easter eggs; I didn't even notice it until a couple of years ago after watching Voyager for the [redacted]th time. The loser Kazon doing the shapes puzzle was played by Larry Cedar, who was a cast member on Square One TV, a PBS math show for kids. So it's hilarious to me that he was doing that puzzle, and also hilarious that later he talked about how proud he was at the shape of the table in the conference room. I have *no idea* if the writers wrote that in knowing he was on a kids' math show or if that's a total coincidence, but I was so thrilled when I noticed it. (Was also thrilled that he was your loser, Robbie, because it's true, he didn't solve the puzzle during the episode so I guess he never got that night with the dancer. Oh well.) Also, I totally agree that Kate is really excellent at being so dramatic. It's one of the main reasons that Voy is my favorite Trek.

Something was missing Garrett must learn to embrace Haiku restrictions

I personally love Garrett’s impressions and I hope he continues to do them. I laugh every single time.

I'm sure there's SOME connection between Kazon hairdo and their problem with water. Maybe they use sand to wash their hair.
