The Delta Flyers is a weekly Star Trek: Voyager rewatch & recap podcast hosted by Garrett Wang & Robert Duncan McNeill. Infinite Regress:
Voyager encounters a Borg device floating in space which causes Seven of Nine to exhibit multiple personalities, including that of a Klingon, a Ferengi, a Vulcan, and a human.

Oh my goodness, Robbie, I grew up just outside of Pittsburgh, saying "yins" and going to Kennywood Park every year! I don't remember any kid shows there, maybe that was after my time....we moved back to WA state when I was 12, You guys and I are similar in age. I loved the Fun House Noah's Ark ride and the really big kid's coaster that was perfect for big kids who were afraid of heights and the adult roller coasters. Great memories. Also I remember my parents warning me not to say "yins" in Washington because everyone would think it super weird, lol. We were fast talkers in Pennsylvania too. My brother married a girl there and whenever we talked on the phone I would drop right back into PA regionalisms. Then I went to college in Dallas and literally had to deliberately slow down my speech since the Texans couldn't listen fast enough, ha, ha.

MG

If Star Trek: Legacy actually happens with Seven as captain, Naomi Wildman needs to show up, at least as a full Commander if not Captain of another ship.

Lee Stroud

When I moved to Texas in 8th grade I would say “you all” (thinking at least to myself) that that was the correct way to say it when everyone else was going by “y’all”. Then, I gave in—love to y’all❤️

James Morrow

Great episode-loved the impromptu acapella Eye of the Tiger :-). It’s interesting that our average score was slightly lower that Gn’Rs. Rebecca-thank you for a wonderful editing effort!!

Andrew Murray

As the Klingon persona, she should be able to argue with Be'lanna on "even ground".

Robert Doherty

Love Voyager, love this podcast and ever since I first watched Voyager I've always been stoked and honored to have the same name as a Voyager writer/story creator, even down to the middle initial, gives me an awesome feeling hearing my name spoken on here even if I'm not the same guy To the journey guys and live long and prosper 🖖🏻😃

Andrew Murray

when you think about it all those personalities are always present in Seven, the aggression (Klingon), the logic (Vulcan), the one-track mind (Ferengi), and the humanity (the youthful human).

Angela

The 1989-1993 TV show Quantum Leap used the 'reflection reveals the alternate personality's image' to great effect.

Norman Buchwald

Foghorn Leghorn is the cartoon rooster who says "my son." Also, Tom Paris has often voiced his love for pizza at least a few times throughout the entire series (and in one episode Neelix lectured Tom how long it actually takes to make it from scratch with what he has if replicator rations have been used).

Estelle Keller

Class Action Park is on HBOMax, i went there in the late 80s with summer camp and no one in my group got seriously injured kids between 10-12. The location later became a ski resort. There are some other documentaries on the place done by amusement park enthusiasts also on YouTube. Now back to watching the Voyager related video.

Rosemarie

Kennywood!! I'm sad I'm too young to have seen Robbie there. Nice to have a Pittsburgh shout out.

Charlotte Telford

There was a documentary here on Netflix UK about that park, I think. it was run by people who had no idea what they were doing, staffed by untrained kids and guests just ran riot. I'm sure that was called Action Park but I don't think the documentary was called Class Action Park. Brilliant documentary though!

Karen

Same here! I was too young as well. Kennywood is a yearly pilgrimage.

Adina Ringler

Yep...was gonna say it was a Quantum Leap mirror shot which we first saw in 1989!

Jennifer Barnett

It's more like Yinz.... We're called Yinzers. 🤣 Love that Robbie worked at Kennywood!!

Debra Crockett

OK, guys, here are some answers for you. The chicken was Foghorn Leghorn. The fish is an Angler Fish. And just so you know, in Philly we say youse or yiz {

Janet Potts

Actually, I just looked it up on HBO Max. It is, indeed, called Class Action Park.

Karen

They say "younz" more in West Virginia than they do in Pittsburgh. It's definitely yinz in the city!

Tara

Most of my friends growing up survived Action Park, but yes, it was infamous. Personally, I never went, although I did go to Great Adventure many times. Foghorn Leghorn!!

Tashicat

This episode is always a good reminder that the borg found Ferengi worth assimilating but not Kazon lmfao

Christopher Collins

I think this is one of David Livingston’s better episodes.

Christopher Collins

The reflection idea is used also in Quantum Leap for seeing who did Sam Beckett Leap into this time.

Christopher Collins

I like Naomi Wildman in this episode. This episode made me fall more in love with Naomi Wildman’s character.

Christopher Collins

I like the pair of Seven of Nine with Tuvvok. I like that we saw a Vulcan do a mind-meld on 7 of 9 for the first time on this episode

Christopher Collins

I like Seven of Nine’s voice impression of the Child with Naomi Wildman to sound like a child, I liked her Klingon, & Ferengi impersonations. I wish we saw more impersonation to aliens we had not encountered. Everything she did was from Alpha Quadrant but nothing from Delta or Gama Quadrant.

Luise

Regarding "y'all", "yuns", etc., the Scottish/Glaswegian way of saying it is "youse" (or, potentially, "you's"?), which I found very charming when I lived there. I also had an American friend from Virginia there who would say "y'all" a lot. Also charming. <3 English.

Luise

Rebecca going back to Robbie's face after the "reverse phaser" comment made me laugh. Bravo, Rebecca!

So Voyager found the Borg cube Vinculum. Some guys can never find the vinculum. :-)
