I have a tendency to oversympathize with sometimes even despicable losers, but whereas Yiannopolous seemed like a transparent grifter a little too dumb and venal to pull it off, Loomer seems like a genuinely deranged person. I don't say being crazy necessarily makes a person sympathetic, but it does make it harder, I think, to celebrate the awful state of their lives.
