I loved this episode. And I came here to say that I actually agree with Adam's take on Trump / Stormy Daniels. It is my personal belief that the Trump campaign ginned up the whole thing as a publicity stunt that just went off the rails because they didn't understand the legal implications. That might be a crackpot theory but I do think that—to his base—the fact that he was allegedly fucking a well-known blonde porn star with giant tits absolutely did make him seem cool as hell (again, to his base). I think they probably could have squashed the whole thing early on but they leaned in a little bit because they thought it gave him a badboy cool factor, which absolutely did play to his image with the MAGA set.
