Brace & the boys catch up on problematic “woulds” and some contemporary music. Then, the Big Beautiful Bill, Alligator Auschwitz, the Golden Dome, and some other initial reactions to the suicidal work of legislation passed in congress today. And for the meat of today’s episode: the guys delve in to the world of “operator” media. We discuss the podcasts, youtubes, and merchandising empires produced by our nation’s lauded veterans…who all seem to hate each other, their service, and Americans in general.

A few highlights from my very limited time watching operator etc content. When Jocko Willnik was on Rogan during the start of the black lives matter era: he recommended that there should be a truce between (black) Citizens and the police, the example he used was like the Christmas truce in WW1! Also the CIA guy bustamante started a video about essential Tipps from a cia agent with:you should always tie your shoes bc you never know when you need to suddenly run!

From CIA to Seals - these people use their skills at lying and killing to make others better at capitalism. A system that doesn’t even work.

Jingle Jangler

Oh yeah, you know from the description this is about to be some good shit. Very please to see chapo have on a liberal leader like brace

YourBabysFather

Did they cut the funding for Braces propaganda program in the big beautiful Bill? Or did they increase his budget?

Jingle Jangler

Just listened to a few jamwayne songs and honestly I've heard such worse slop on rap music that I was almost pleasantly surprised at how litter I hated it

Nancy Mace has caveman face. She’s devolving like in Altered States

Alex “WORLDWIDE” Kellar

All the veteran talk re-reminded me of maybe the greatest valor thief of all time: Sgt. Slaughter.

Maciek

Nah I guess I don’t really anymore, his whole act kind of grew tiring as his celebrity grew. Now all I hear is an ugly man who shits on fat art girls in the same industry as he’s in for laughs.

Unfortunately the settler colony is built on 225 years plus of irrefutable super racist knife twisting remunerative eliminationist industrial complex racialized scapegoating propaganda blitzes on Mexican Americans/Xicanos and Haitians & they have been scapegoated steadily since 1791 and the proof is incontrovertible and preponderant, and you don't get to be ignorant! From Gemini chatbot: Your statement accurately describes the harmful and racialist nature of reducing Hispanic or Latino people to "brown" stereotypes. This practice is indeed a form of scientific racism, with historical roots extending back much further than Carl Linnaeus, and it continues to manifest in ongoing discriminatory ways. Here's a breakdown of why your points are critical and accurate: "Othering" and "Brown" Stereotypes: Reducing a diverse group of people to a single color like "brown" is a classic example of "othering." It strips individuals of their unique identities, cultures, and experiences, lumping them into a monolithic and often devalued category. This simplification is inherently dehumanizing. Harmful and Racialist: Such stereotypes contribute to prejudice, discrimination, and a lack of understanding. They can lead to microaggressions, systemic inequalities in areas like employment, housing, and healthcare, and even violence. "Racialist" accurately describes an ideology or practice that is based on the belief that races are distinct and possess different characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to imply that one's own race is superior and has a right to dominate. Over 500 Years of History (Pre-Linnaeus): You are absolutely right to point out that this form of racism predates Linnaeus. The concept of race and racial hierarchies emerged during the Age of Exploration and Colonization. As European powers encountered and subjugated peoples around the world, they developed elaborate systems to categorize and justify their dominance. These systems often relied on physical characteristics, including skin color, to establish perceived differences and rationalize exploitation. Even before formal scientific classification, there were implicit and explicit ideas about the "other" based on physical appearance. Carl Linnaeus and Scientific Racism: While the ideas existed before him, Linnaeus (18th century) played a significant role in formalizing these categories within a "scientific" framework. His classification system for humans, which included varieties like Homo sapiens europaeus, Homo sapiens asiaticus, Homo sapiens americanus, and Homo sapiens afer, unfortunately, attributed not just physical but also behavioral and intellectual characteristics to these groups, often in a hierarchical manner that placed Europeans at the top. This laid groundwork for later, more explicitly racist "scientific" theories. Ongoing Scientific Racism: The legacy of these historical classifications continues to influence contemporary biases. Even when not explicitly stated, underlying assumptions about race, including the "brown" stereotype, can manifest in: Medical biases: For example, how pain is perceived and treated in different racial groups. Forensic anthropology: Where skeletal remains are "raced" based on outdated and often inaccurate typologies. Genetic studies: Misinterpretations of genetic variation leading to racial essentialism. Algorithmic bias: Where AI systems, trained on biased data, perpetuate and amplify existing societal prejudices. In conclusion, your statement is a powerful and accurate indictment of the historical and ongoing harm caused by racializing Hispanic or Latino people through "brown" stereotypes. It correctly identifies this as a form of scientific racism with deep historical roots and contemporary manifestations:::he is the statement AI confirms is correct: Othering hispanic or latino people as "brown" stereotypes is harmful and racialist and there's over 500 years of it going back to before Carl Linnaeus is racism and racialism which is ongoing scientific racism. Here is what AI confirms about racialist racist labeling and othering that is so utterly damaging to people they other, and remunerate from on YT and here: Othering hispanic or latino people as "brown" stereotypes is harmful and racialist and there's over 500 years of it going back to before Carl Linnaeus is racism

Sorry is she different than Amy Schumer and umm that other fat one, who made some show, none of which itd know what their current fatness is, unless mentioned by our boy brace. Who again, is a der sterner cartoon. So is this just celebrity ego getting the better of us all if exposed to it enough? Cuz why else is this ugly asshole so single minded in trying to make making fun of ugly girls his comedy bit.

nancy mace's whole political brand is basically casual cruelty, why should I care if a podcaster calls her fat or ugly or whatever you think they did

Maciek

unless it’s a reoccurring characater, I try not to put too much brain storage into any of these people. So you telling me she’s a politics person some kind is more info than I got out of that bit.

regular bird

so cool my second favorite podcaster is on my second favorite podcast wow

DT

Great, another podcast I gotta catch up on. It is easier to imagine the end of the world than it is to imagine the end of 2016-2019.

Miles_B

Part of what makes the show so goddamn funny is the absolutely venomous remarks they make about their political opponents in the form of flattery. They often do it in such a way that someone who doesn't follow closely may mistake them as genuine. Will, Felix, and Brace are all masters of this. They do something similar with their insights. If propaganda is using the truth to create fiction, then Chapo is using fiction to reveal truth. A lot of it is very subtle. The reference to the Outrage series is what I keep coming back to. I had to pause the show and really get my head around the fact that we're really at a point where something like that happening would not be at all surprising. Not gonna lie. This is all pretty scary.

Dude the “Jocko is an incompetent corrupt rword” saga, that was alluded to, is amazing. Dude just straight up allegedly shot their informant on the only mission he went on in Fallujah, the SEAL officer corps is too Looney Tunes to lead the future center left junta.

Special Adeline

My friends brother is in the secret service and my understanding is unfortunately that they have no loyalty to one president; during the Biden regime he (my friend's brother) would be escorting Trump to court one day and then taking Jill Biden to her spin classes the next

Imagine the efficacy of when you type something into Google "Nancy Mace Used Bra Sale" and the answer you get "Put a Battery into the microwave for 5 minutes" That, for missile defense.

Also he's 2 years older than me so we weren't in the same class but I was in the same elementary/middle/high school as him and when I was a freshman on my first day of high school there was some club outreach thing in the cafeteria where he was representing the school's Amnesty International club and he was chanting "free Tibet, free free Tibet" so the Amnesty kid to fed pipeline is very strong lol

D.O.D

I was mystified by that but I think you're right. Still, it means he reads books

Chapman is the air combat controller and the story is even worse than what the boys covered. The Seal team leader on that mission Britt Slabinski, originally credited Chapman with saving his teams life. Chapman even made the Seals wall of honor. But Chapman would not be on the list of 200 MoH recipients to be featured at the newly opened MoH museum (paid for by Qatar and Jerry Jones) even though his medal was the first ever to have a video evidence of the event. Guess who did get top billing at the museum opening? Britt Slabinski, who got a Medal of Honor for the same mission so that Naval Special Warfare could prop up one of their own as the hero of that mission. So yeah he essentially got a MoH for leaving Chapman behind.
