No one wants to claim Gilmore girls? OK losers!

I really enjoyed the depiction of a gifted kid who kind of flounders after high school. As said, definitely the best of the girlfriend shows to watch.

I would watch this obsessively with my mom and discuss it with the moms of my friends when I was like 9. I don't need to post first to be the gayest

Whistle Dog

Very fond memories of my late mom letting me stay up Wednesday nights so we could watch together 🩷

Flesh Colored Subaru

Watched this show with a variety of English major girls i was desperate to sleep with, ending up really enjoying it

Felix comment on redscare did not age well! Man were these ladies disappointing.

I dreaded watching this show with my girlfriend because she was such an empty vessel of a human that the show rubbed off on her way too much. She was the type of person that didn’t have her own personality, so when she saw someone she thought was cool on TV she would start to take on that character’s personality irl. That fast paced, quippy, “high jokes per minute” dialogue does not translate well to real life, I still cringe so hard when I hear snippets of dialogue from that show that it gives me chills.

I got home early one night and my wife was sort of embarrassed that I walked in on her watching GG. I joined her, probably mid-season two and we ended up watching almost all of it. It's simply fun. I do still shit on the dialog though it's so corny and I hate the timing, but overall I enjoyed watching it.

Synney

also love the early 2000s indie tracks in it

Bella DeBall

it's very similar to deadwood in that the show built an entire community filled with characters that have their own stories and backgrounds.

First chapo episode ever that I've been able to share with my partner.

I hate “girl shit.” I’ve reflected on whether or not my misogynistic views somehow came from my father proudly displaying his Playboy collection, but I don’t truly believe that’s the root of it. I’ve just never wanted to talk or think about stuff like feelings or starting my period. This show sounds intolerable, worse than Grey’s Anatomy. I do appreciate the inclusion of a “girl show.” Listening to this episode really reinforced my opinion that “guy shit” is way better. Chapo Trap House feels like a safe place for all the heterosexual women who want to eat steak and talk about sports.
