Cartman and Wendy have always had a rivalry since the start but I think this is when his resentment for her begins properly because she threw him to the curb.

We are now in the Eliza Schneider era of Wendy/South Park Female Voices, seasons 3-7, between the original Mary Kay Bergman and the longstanding modern April Stewart. This is my personal favorite, Wendy has a sweetness to her that is lost with Stewart, who always brings a downer element to Wendy and Sharon, a kind of tired resentment that you don't get with Schneider, who's all energetic and spunky. Eliza Schneider was a linguistics fanatic, she went around the country in an old ambulance collecting recordings of accents and regional dialects. Natural mimic.
