Mid-june update + Character / writing help request (Patreon)

Hi all! I'm here with little news, but I just want to make sure to let everyone know development is still ongoing. It's all slow but steady. Summer is here and I have quite a lot on my plate between keeping up my job, garden, social obligations, this game and just life in general.

As for the game, I don't have a lot to say that hasn't been said last time. I'm still chipping away at a bunch of things at the same time, depending on my mood on development days:

The first three new side businesses. One is done, the second is 75% done, the third is yet to be started

Talking mechanics on both the phone as well as at meetings in the game world

Overall relationship mechanics (moving between relationship stages from friend to girlfriend/FWB/affair and from there to wife

New sex mechanics. Still kinda stuck on this one.

Overhauling how the game tracks player progress, recreating the LAX app into a progress / level / skill / achievement tracker and integrating this new RPG-like system into the main & side stories

Fleshing out mechanics for already existing businesses like the gym and the barber

The main storyline is pretty much where I want it for now. The story itself is far from done of course, but the part that is there is now final. I'm keeping away from adding to it or adding sidestories as that will only put more stuff on my plate and my plate's plenty full.

One little thing I can reveal I guess (maybe I have said it before? I don't remember) is that I will be splitting "the club" into three businesses. I feel that this is not only easier for me to handle in terms of development, it is also more fun. It means more celebrity managers to meet, more businesses to collect, more diversity. So we will have a separate strip club, sex club and brothel. I'm hoping to have the strip club to basic functionality for this update, leaving the other two for later.

Request for help - Character sheets

I might be interested in acquiring some help to switch over the old character templates to the new ones. This means lots of googling (age, net worth, partner status, clout stats etc) and some creative freedom as in what characteristics each girl would have in terms of personality and sex preferences. There's 150+ girls so this is a lot of work and time that I'd rather spend on coding. I would send you the file with 20 or so girls done as an example and you'd slowly do the rest before sending it back. You'll need to be comfortable enough with the game's "controversial" kinks to assign each girl a stat in them.

If you're interested, DM me. I do not have discord or anything to communicate on my phone, all communication would go slowly through here, email and/or reddit whenever I have the time and privacy to log on. If you're not okay with that and need constant communication, do not apply.

Request for help - Conversation writing

I might also be interested in someone to help write some conversations. I'd like to keep the story stuff to myself to keep it consistent with my vision, but I want the conversations you have when going on dates or calling girls on the phone to be as diverse as possible and it takes a lot of time to write. You can write all kinds of stuff, your imagination is the limit. You could write things specific for a certain personality type (gloomy girls complaining about the state of the world), a certain job (actresses telling you a story that happened on set) or a certain sex preference (a slutty girl telling you a raunchy story from her wild weekend), or just a general convo that will work for everyone.

The way these work is that preferably the player gets a choice how to react and based on that the convo goes into a choice tree, so it's not just a single passage you're writing. Because of this, a very basic knowledge of coding (understanding variables and if/then statements) is necessary. The same goes as for the previous request: no constant communication is possible. We'd discuss what is to be done and we'll check in every week or two through here, email or reddit.
