First 2026 checkin! (Patreon)

Hey all. Been gone a while, but both me and the game are still alive and (sorta) well. I recently got an ADHD diagnosis and just started medication a few days ago. It's given me a lot of focus and it's already helping me write and code for the game. If it's actually improving my writing is another question, but you can be the judge of that soon :) The code is good at least.

The game is pretty much where it was in september, unfortunately, but this should definitely speed up development. I know you've heard that before, but legal meth is another ballgame. I've been finishing up business mechanics this weekend and been working on date mechanics finally, mixing them in with the new phone and conversation mechanics to create a fluid blend of all. It's very promising. Won't be fully done when update drops but it'll be functional on the simple date types (coffee, lunch, dinner).

Hoping to get it all done by march. I know it's a long wait and I get that you're losing some trust in me. That's fair. But I hope to regain that when you play this update and see the first proper vision of what this game is meant to be :)

I'll try and keep you all updated more, but you know how it goes.
