ok i went and rewatched some scenes from this show and how the hell was disney airing this (i know it’s not disney but they did air it on their channel like with mbav or wolfblood) 😭 it was giving teen drama more than kids show at times

I've always known about this show but this was the first time I've watched it. It was really cute! I'm going to watch it along with you😊 You were thinking of Clare and Jake from Degrassi. Maybe also Brandon/Callie from The Fosters, they were foster siblings but same idea. Fun fact: The girl from Color of Friendship is Connor from Degrassi's sister in real life. And finally, the dad is a Degrassi dad you haven't been introduced to yet.

Ouuu....I loved this show when I was in middle school. I used to religiously sing the theme song nonstop all day everyday, it was like a tick. I would randomly start singing it mid conversation with my friends, siblings, parents or while eating dinner 😂 the theme song is so catchy. I haven't watched this show in over 10+ years, but the theme song still hits for me to this day.

this show came out the year i was born so i obviously didnt see it as it was airing, but i distinctly remember being like 4-5 watching re-runs on pop girl and shipping casey and derek so bad, before i even knew what shipping was lol.
