Well, June was not very productive. I had preparation for A-Kon in the early part of the month, and then another scheduled convention yanked out from under me, and various issues around the house that had to be taken care of, and all of that devoured the energy and attention I need to write. As I type this, today, July 4th, I'm pushing hard to get a large stretch of Peter is the Wolf script finished to hand to the artist.

All of which is not helped in the slightest by the fact that the thumb drive that had all the active writing projects on it got broken last week, and is even now making its way by post to a data recovery service who will (I hope) yank the intact flash memory chip, transplant it elsewhere, and save all the otherwise gone-for-good data. (The same thumb drive also contains my sales info, last backed up six months ago, so it's really important.)

What I do next depends on circumstances. I have (by sheer luck) a current PitW draft, and a close-to-current Changeling Space Program draft, but almost everything else is either a year or more outdated or just plain gone if the data recovery doesn't work.

But I'm not dead, and I'm not totally inactive... just tired and distracted.
