Hello! Happy Springtime, and Good Friday to you!

I hope that you enjoyed this week's special April Fools release which took over our first-of-the-month post slot.

Today I have the request thread for the new month 🌞!

Suggestions:

Requests with likes from other patrons will have priority. The more likes, the higher chance of doing it.

Assets with the most general use will usually be prioritized.

Image references are always helpful!

Start small: I'm not going to have time to create a large tileset for an entire region, but a couple of special objects would be OK.

Omega Modern style or Lo-Bit style requests are cool, or Time Elements/Fantasy stuff. Just specify if you're looking for a specific style, or something else.

All patrons will have access to the graphics made from these threads.

Specific assets for the Time Elements generator are welcome (legs, body, head, hairstyles, weapons, etc), but -- instead of a regular patron release, they might end up on the list for a future expansion!

Repeat requests are OK -- if I didn't get to a request from a previous month, feel free to post it again here.

As I said in the previous monthly recap, I'll be away from the PC this week for the Easter holiday, and then after a little time off, we'll be back into our regular schedule for the next week.

In the meantime, I look forward to your creative requests and suggestions.

See you soon. Thanks!

Would love to see some of your future fantasy assets in the TE style, especially your modern assets!

Repost only because you seemed interested in it: what do you think of Zelda Breath Of the wild's spectral flame effect to add as an overlay for sprites to make them appear ghostly? https://youtu.be/estWS4d2cCY?t=86

Meta: the long awaited tutorial to turn Time Elements style to Time Fantasy style, which was mentioned a couple years ago and never happened or a tutorial on how to switch back and forth depending on your favored style, not just the one way

Steve Geoulekas

After you did such an awesome job with the railing and banisters, there's not much I could suggest. However I do think some more interior window variations and styles would be a welcome addition.

(repost) New parts for the Time Element char generator: - Weapons: one or two new models of bows and staffs. - Hats: bard's hat (with feather), scarf, beret, another model of wizard/sorcerer's hat (more worn, like Gandalf's), a bandana, pirate or corsair hat. - dwarf bodies and legs: 2 or 3 smaller body and leg models that fit together to make dwarves - hair: shorter backhair 5 (like Yang's haircut in FF4) One of the more complicated things to integrate would be adding musical instruments: lute, harp, flute, but that must be complicated to integrate. Perhaps directly above the “wait” animation with instruments large enough to hide the arms of the “top” part underneath.

Would be nice to have more modernish clothes options for Time Elements’ generator! Like a hoodie or such… maybe new hair as well. And porting some non-human species heads/arms/legs would be neat :D

Keepo

(Repost) I think ocean waves would be a really useful asset for making the water tilesets come alive.

Ekniv North

Not sure how realistic a request this is, but I would love portraits for the Time Elements characters. Also, just more hairstyles and clothes for the TE characters. Thanks.

Mike

Repost request from last month I’d like some factory tiles. Conveyor belts that go in different directions, and machines that can be part of the conveyor belt like a hydraulic press, an industrial furnace, or a something like a laser cutter

Ianov

Fantasy Objects, or dwarven tiles or objects/ elven tiles or objects? Flooring?

Tom Read

Was thinking maybe all 4 movement directions for the Luchador guy might be fun.... :)

Tom Read

I'm making something with the Beast Tribes at the moment and faces for those would also be really cool, but it is a big, big ask as you say. I'm trying to think of some creative ways to fill the gaps, but haven't managed yet.

Anthony

More options for the TE generator would be cool. faces, body shapes/sizes, colors for outfits and skin. Would love to be able to generate a chunky npc, or a child without rendering smaller. If not, then anything TE style.

A misc time fantasy tileset addition (or character set I suppose?) that basically gives you more options to add wear and tear to layer over other stuff if that makes any sense? Things that could be used on interior walls, streets to add some battle damage or ravages of time, etc. Things like acid stains, cracks, rust, mould, etc. This could serve as a nice bit of evergreen utility to add to multiple kind of maps for people who want to build abandoned, old or ruined structures using pre-existing but pristine looking TF structures and such.

Flame princess Ray

More 4 directional beasts/monsters, looking for like tameable companions, like rune factory/pokemon

Dante Maxwell

I’m gonna make the same request as last month. Some animated objects floating in water like wooden crates and barrels. And boulders in water. :3

finalbossblues

smart request, expansions of some of my personal fave quirky characters 🤣

finalbossblues

I played a bit with this a couple weeks ago, trying to time out a complex animation with multiple floating flames that could overlap for a whole character, but it felt like a really inefficient approach. It led me to think in this direction: What about a set of a few different individual animations (for particles), which the user could then be arranged into the larger overlay (in engine with particle emitters or in rpgmaker, with the animation editor).

No_Heart

Maybe that could work, it would surely require some tinkering but doable

Tom Read

Long term goal: Wrestlemaniacs RPG spectacular. It would feature British, Mexican and US wrestlers.

Cody

More post apocalyptic tiles. Like ones for seasons and hometown would be cool. I like the ones you have for the City. You can have the normal towns, and go into a ransacked town for contrast. Could even change the tile set as you fix it up.

Cody

I second this!

TreeTopOcelot

Could we have a dwarven golem/mech suit I think it would compliment the elf/dwarf set nicely. They could be large character sprites and made of brass or other metals.

Cody

I just realized my suggestion is basically kind of the same as this one. This would work even better though because those wear and tear things could potentially be used on all the other tilesets.

Christian S

was thinking maybe getting some devil horns and and angel halo piece for the generator, as we already have the wings for both

Michael Greenhut

This may be totally off base, just my $0.02, but a four directional Tron-like player character would be really cool (especially one you can procedurally color, based on allegiance).

Tommy Kay

Castle walls or Castle building style textures in the Time Elements style

No_Heart

I forgot if I said before, but a revamp and expansion of your underwater tiles? Clair obscur shows some amazing examples of underwater scenery

Anthony

I didn't see anything in the HUD/UI pack, so I request a time fantasy/ 16bit sundial for the HUD, 64x64 for a day/evening/night system.
