Hello! It's Friday, so that means it's the last day of our 🌞 special event week🌻!

Today I have the final tool, with an extra bonus variant, as well as the big zip that contains the entire week's releases as a mini-pack.

All five of these new pieces are farming tools, designed to work with the Elements character animation series:

These are overlay-animations that correspond with the "Attack/ToolUse" animation for the character sets (like the pickaxe from the core set).

If you're using the character generator, these go in the folder for the "weapon" slot.

Previously:

Fishing Pole

Seeds and Seed Bag

Hoe (Farm Tool Week #1)

Shovel (Farm Tool Week #2)

Clippers (Farm Tool Week #3)

Butterfly Net (Farm Tool Week #4)

Today's release is the scythe. Or sickle, depending on how you look at it. Handy for cutting hay or weeding crops...

But also handy to cut down monsters! The scythe has an extra bonus variant with additional animations (for "held armed while walking", the same format used for the spear/hammer/ axe weapons in previous Elements releases), so your hero can equip it as a weapon.

Like the other metal tools this week, this has three additional color sets besides the default (steel) color variant. They can represent different materials or upgrade tiers: wood, iron, and gold.

Here are the Downloads:

And the whole week compiled for your convenience:

Reminder: Some browsers don't like .zip files. If you can't download this, right-click the link and copy-paste is directly into your URL bar.

Honestly the curved handle on this one was a bit of a challenge to animated at subtle angles... I hope you agree that it turned out okay, and that it looks good in your game!

Okay, and that's it for this week.

I don't know yet what exactly the plan will be for these, in the context of the overall Elements series: maybe I'll keep them as a patron-bonus add-on pack and make a standalone page for them, like some of the smaller TF expansions we've made over the years, or maybe they'll end up being included as part of a bigger Elements expansion release in the future. Let me know if you have a good idea!

I hope that this special week has contributed to your game world, and if they're not for your specific project: then I hope that these gave you some creative inspiration! 😎

I'll be back next week with something new. We'll be back into the regular releases with something fun based on a patron request. See you on Monday!

Thanks for everything. I really do appreciate it.

These are going to be amazingly helpful for so many crafting and farming games to come. Thanks for the sterling work!
