Hello, I hope you had a lovely weekend. Today's release is directly from a patron request.

This set has a bunch of variants, and they're directly based on the crates and barrels from the Elements tileset. I've also included the classic-colors on the sheet for Time Fantasy projects as well!

And, in my eternal obsession with providing options for different gameplay/minigame mechanics: I've also included some extra poses and directions too, like the sideways ones and the open-top barrels.

And there's even a couple of familiar faces... I wonder what you could do with them?

By the way:

I liked this idea because it reminded me of a puzzle mechanic from Jay's Journey, one of the best complete RM2K games out there. Don't look down on the barebones-RTP style, if you're interested in well-made RM games, it's worth checking out: being complete and well-balanced, with a memorably well-designed world-map based on vehicle progression, and the game's unfortunately quite underrated and unknown despite being one of RM's true classics.

I can't find a link for the original, but it looks like Jay's got a page on itch with some RM plugins and a remake in the works. I don't know him or anything, but the original RM2K game was a big influence on me back in the day!

Anyway, here are the downloads:

Floating Crates and Barrels Spritesheet - 100% (16x16)

Floating Crates and Barrels Spritesheet - 200% (RMVX)

Floating Crates and Barrels Spritesheet - 300% (MV/MZ)

These are in a chara-set format that'll work directly in RPGMaker, and if you animate it in RM, they bob up-and-down with the 'stepping' animation.

If you're not using RM, then it should be easy to splice these into any format that'll work best for your project, as they're arranged in a regular grid like all of my add-on sheets.

Okay, that's it for today. I hope these are useful for your game world, and give you some ideas for interesting environments or even gameplay mechanics!

Thanks for everything.

I'll see you later in the week with something new.
