Hello! Hope you had a pleasant week.

Today's release is based on a request I got from a patron, and it'll be useful for anybody who is using my Future Fantasy tileset... and, of course, for sci-fi settings in general.

And because I want this to be accessible for anyone who already has that set, today's post is freely available to everyone. I hope it's useful for your game! 😀

Check it out:

The Future Fantasy expansion comes with a bunch of little flashing computer screens that line up with the tiles, but they were limited to the single-tile-sized screens. These giant workstation monitors were in the tiles, but didn't have the animated screens.

so I'm happy to finally have them for you today.

And a new animation too: the text-scrolling screen animation is new. It's very simple, but I think it'll be useful to help the central monitor stand out: especially if you have characters interacting with it. Could be used as monitor of code for a computer hacker, or... maybe this is the dreaded Blue Screen of Death, and your heroes need to escape the lab before it explodes!

Bonus: there's something handy here for you if you're using my Omega Modern style for your game.

While I was digging around in the TF future tileset, I was reminded of the similarly-structured-but-stylistically-different control panel from the Omega Modern rocket ship. So I made a variant that will line up with those tiles as well, it plops right on top.

Pretty sneaky, huh!

These are included on the second sheet in the downloads below.

These are arranged in a sheet that uses the 16x16 tilegrid, and each frame is the size of 6 (3x2) tiles. You can use it as sprites, tiles, or whatever: notably these are designed to align with the tilesets mentioned above, I wanted it to be very easy for you to work with it using snap-to-grid, if you want to add them to an existing sheet or setup.

If you're using RPGMaker: these are arranged as character-sheets and you can animate them with the basic stepping animation. They should work if you rename them with a "!$" (using both the single-character "$" prefix and tile-align with the "!" prefix).

Okay, here are the downloads:

In the meantime, have a safe weekend. And as always thanks for everything.

These are really cool! What software did you use to make them and all your pixel artworks, animations, and assets?
