Clergy (Priests, Monks and Nuns) NPC Sprites (Patreon)

Hello! Hope you had a nice weekend.

I originally had a different release planned for today, but after last week's big tileset release, I realized that we were missing some important NPC characters. So I re-scheduled that post for Friday and spent the weekend jamming out this collection of sprites!

To make sure that they're really worthwhile for this release, I went ahead with a full sheet of eight new characters:

These are premade NPC characters in the Elements style (similar to the NPC sheets that were included in the Elements packs). They have full walking animations in four directions.

This set includes various types of clergy including priests and monks and nuns. I took inspiration for the different designs from multiple traditions: hopefully you can find a good place for these characters in your game world!

I've exported them with and without the shadow.

I've decided to share this set as a free collection, to include them alongside the church tileset from last week. I plan to bundle them together into a little mini-pack (I'll publish an itch page this afternoon, or maybe sometime later this week).

Like I said in last week's post, this Church set is intended to be a sort of mini-expansion that adds onto and bridges-between the Hometown tileset, the Castle tileset, and the upcoming Imperial Capital tileset (which will be our big fall/winter tileset project).

Because of that, it'll be convenient to release it as a freebie instead of an add-on for a specific set (and because it's free to go to church 🤗). So last week's tiles + today's priest NPC characters will be bundled as a free mini-expansion set for the Elements series.
