Awesome guys, will be tuning in! Would love to see methods to effectively paint the pink alongside the black as it feels like there’s a lot of light and dark colours next to each other on the studio scheme, like you were alluding to in the DKoK vid it would be good to see the paint order you recommend to paint these efficiently to a good standard, cheers!

Looking forward to seeing the new SBGL reveals getting painted on the channel, particularly that vampire lord on nightmare steed. I think I like the bald vamp with the axe better, but not entirely sure

Hey guys, great to get your take on the new minis. I’m a huge fan of that Lucius (give me more armour featuring contorted screaming faces! 😂) and those Flawless Blades totally rock. Henry made a point about GW minis being very paintable, which prompted me to ask a question: what do you guys think about the fact that there are virtually no smooth, blank or unadorned surfaces on any GW minis these days? Personally I love a lot of the designs and think the detail is impressive, but when even basic troops have every single imaginable ’extra dongle’, is that too much? Painting armies is certainly made more time consuming that way (for instance, the Ardboys I’ve been painting recently have leather straps and bolts through the tops of the shoulder pads, so you really can’t ignore them in the paint job, but they’re not strictly necessary from a design perspective). I’m down with extra stuff when it’s lore appropriate - like, say the Death Guard being covered in tentacles and boils or the Blood Angels with all their bling, sorry, sacred artefacts - but it almost feels like the design philosophy is now ‘fill every millimetre of space on all minis’. What do you reckon? As for covering the newly revealed stuff, I'd love to see the skeletons and the Emperor's children, so please go ahead and order them if you don't happen to get review copies 😈. Cheers!

Great video Andy, I especially enjoy your transparency in your videos. And your healthy mindset through the paintings. I wanted to ask a couple of things, How do you balance your time with creating content and painting? Do you have a schedule? When you started filming did you find that the camera hindered your painting at all? How did you go about pushing through that? For both Andy and Henry - have you considered longer format videos ( I’d understand why if not) maybe less editing but for people interested how you actually use your brush strokes to achieve certain techniques rather than a short clip with an explanation. Love guys always look forwards to seeing your educational content. P.S Henry, holding off!
