Hey everyone,

I’ve recovered my piece for Golden Demon after a lot of work! Thanks for your understanding and patience. Should be full steam ahead now!

Good good. I’m sure the hard work, blood , sweat and tears are worth it in the end.

That’s great Andy, can’t wait to see what you’ve done!

Wonderful video Andy as per usual! Stunning piece so far, can’t wait to see the next video on it. As usual, thanks for your honest, personal thoughts on your work.

Best video ever: Everything went wrong, but I fixed it. Would not recommend the colours though 😂 In all seriousness, this is such an important video. Looking at your dilemma, many, many people would have given up. But the fact that you did'nt just proves that almost anything can be recovered if needed. Gives really a boost of confidence for the next painting crisis

So glad everything is sorted now and you can breathe

Welcome back Andy - so glad you survived the nightmare! In fact, I think you’ve just proved that the main difference between professionals and amateurs is often the level of resilience, perseverance and repetition that has to be deployed. We all love your honest video diaries. As for the miniature itself, you said you think it looks a bit worn out, but as someone who hasn’t been redoing it for weeks on end I think it looks fantastic (also, a great shade of purple - Slaanesh would applaud you suffering for your art 😂). Cheers!

What a great video Andy. Overcoming the issues and mindset/approach, while explaining the process of how you tackle a project. Really pleased you pushed on and the results speak for themselves! Amazing 😻💪

Love the video and hearing the troubles and issues people have at your level does help me feel better when i have them :D. The overall cloth is lovely and i will try to steal that look ( although hopefulyl with better colours ". If i had one note it seems like the highlights on the upwards facing section of the chest dont seem as prominant on the legs where as it feels they should be comparable to me. Could just be my eye / the video though so feel free to ignore me on this

Painting Lumeneth is a test of endurance and thats without melting your models. I dont know how everyone else feels about this but I would not want you to stress out competetion pieces just to produce content for us. Theres plenty of other less time consuming content that you can produce for us more display/comp painters while you focus on other stuff. I would love some just 5-10 min vids with maybe some theory, or just tips and tricks(how do you even paint tufts/moss?! apparently youre supposed to for some reason?!), what does it actually mean to paint neat and tidy and maybe some examples. Or just take 10 min to analyze some recent paintjobs and talk about why they are good/less good. I do love the golden demon diaries but theres plenty of ways you can teach us things and also hopefully lower your own stress levels.

I experienced the same on my GD Diorama and I so close to just let it unfinished. But now I‘m happy with it and I‘m exited to enter the same category.

Your videos on painting mentality are always super helpful to watch…cant paint if you got metal blocks in the way 🙏🏼

I really liked the video! It would be super helpful if there was a bit more guidance for beginners on how to approach it. Maybe I just missed it, or maybe that’s not the main focus of these kinds of videos.

I knew I was getting deja vu! I'm sorry all of that happened - I for sure would have rage quit, at the first hurdle. Really looking forward to seeing the piece together. This current theme of intimate moments away from the roar of battle is amazing.
