Hey guys, thanks for the vid - great to see that Culture has returned to the Internet...! 😂. A couple of questions: (1) how do you get the Amazon Prime thing to work with Twitch? I've never managed it. (2) What is the least bad airbrush option for priming resin minis? My wife has really bad asthma so I can't prime with stinky stuff in our living room where I hobby and I really hate using rattle cans. Cheers!

Twyn

Would testing the primer on the sprue before priming the model we care about give enough guarantee it's not going to affect the model ? If it's the plastic it would react the same ?

mclargehuge

Thanks for putting in the work to get it on YT. Really appreciate it. Great yarns, looking forward to the next one.

Ed

A show or two on printing would be great, looking at getting a printer and it feels like a minefield, I don’t know what I don’t know 😂

cultofpaint

Yes, to a degree. As i understand it anyway. There's several issues that can arise with the reactions though. I think what happened to Andy it probably would show up on sprue. But probably not with the jetting/orange peel thing.

Hi Rob, you need to link your amazon account to your twitch one. And then when you select subscribe there will be a little tick box that says "use Prime sub". 2. - Badger Stylenrez/Mig 1 shot seems to be well spoken of, and then mr hobby stuff too, but thats proper strong fumes.

cultofpaint

It's worth saying if you or anyone has asthma then leave the primed minis somewhere well ventilated to dry. Cos they continue giving off fumes for quite a while.

Rob Cass

Thanks guys; will test out the Badger and Mig options. Re Amazon, when I try to link the account that’s the bit that never seems to do anything…

The original Cult of Paint podcasts are the thing that originally drew me to Cult of Paint and I looked forward to new ones and thoroughly enjoyed watching the older episodes. It was the kind of conversations I wanted to have but didn't have the community to have myself. I'm thrilled to see them (hopefully) returning.

Jerome

I totally agree - I live in an isolated part of the world and it was CoP podcasts that allowed me to feel like I have a community. I've listened to all the previous episodes probably twice over now whilst I paint [Miss Rich dearly] but I have to say it's so nice to see it's back, it 's the reason I joined up and TBH I prefer it to any learn to paint vids. It's charm is having the gang all throwing in their thoughts into a conversational soup about what my family calls my 'special interest'. Thanks as always guys - can't wait see Season 4 unfold!!!!!

I'm very hot and cold with gunpla. But what i will say is the average collector or entry doesn't paint. But the advanced to master do they even scribe new panel lining and make new parts that completely change the model and the pose them. There is a tournament called the World Gunpla Cup and the paint jobs and effect these guys do could easily open our minds as mini painters to new avenues and approaches. It really is a beast in and of its own!

cultofpaint

It's insane isn't it. I'm still not sure if it's for me, but I'm enjoying finding out about a different style of our hobby

Late this...but I've actually cancelled my Warhammer+ subscription in favour of supporting you guys. I've *actually* made improvements since I've followed the videos and made meaningful progress as opposed to the Warhammer+ videos that kinda after a littlewhile kinda stifled my progress in a strange way - too sterile, too paint by numbers. So seriously, whilst I cannot afford to back the Kickstarter (not without getting a red light and a street corner) I sure as hell can support here forevermore.
