Happy weekend people! right now I am sure many of you are getting into the Indomitus box!

But with plenty of tutorials from us already, here I present to you something Fantasy based. I made this small vignette a while ago using the Corvus Cabal miniatures.

Even if you never paint these models I have tried to load it with as many tips as possible that can relate to a lot of other miniatures. Most notably; a step by step on skin I think you will find much easier to follow. With cloth, bone and even some metallics there is plenty that can be used for others stuff.

As always, let me know what you think! Answers to the Q&A will be up soon. We have so many cool things coming up!

Edit: Forgot to include Vallejo Red Leather 70.818 from the paint list.

Cheers,

Andy

Lovely as always. Love that purple and I wanna steal it for my Lumineth capes! I'd love to see a freehand tutorial from you guys one day as my biggest struggle is keeping them smooth and flat on a surface. After a little while they end up looking lumpy and horrible.

It’s a similar purple to one of the arts isn’t it? Freehand tips, we can do that! I will definitely have a project with some freehand in the future. Andy

Did you use Vallejo or Scale 75 red leather?

Eivind Teig

Wow you guys are amazing at what you do. I do wonder about your paint choices, my local store only has citadel, online stores have army painter and some Vallejo, but Scale 75 I have never seen. Could I use a chart to find a replacement or should I invest time finding that brand?

Following the questions for the Q&A we’re going to put together a little “top ten” paints list. Definitely try some Vallejo paints, they are nearly all good. The other brands it tends to be specific paints we like.

Really keen to see this. Also notice that you guys use a few P3 paints, a I’ve not been able to find in the UK - must be looking in the wrong places.

Piers Meagher

Element Games stock P3 paints in the UK and delivery is pretty quick.
