Amazing, did you need to gloss varnish before the panel liner? Thanks

Now I want to start a Dark Eldar army again, for a system I don't want to play.

Triple bill! The awesome content just keeps coming. Fair play for making those sculpts look good.

Nice one Henry! Really good to see Drukhari - one of my favourite armies - making it onto the channel; some great ideas here for what to do with my Poisonblade Raiding Party when I pluck up the courage to tackle it (I've got this crazy notion of making a diorama out of it). Especially appreciated the comparison of finishes of pin washing, which was very helpful, as well as the pre-highlighting tip on the clear helmet. Any plans for more Drukhari in the future? Scourges, Wyches, Wracks or even a nice Razorwing would be cool. Cheers.

Great stuff. Now I want to paint some dark eldar 🤦‍♂️ I don’t even play 40k lol. Cheers Henry really good tutorial.

Great vid! When thinning for the airbrush do you always use thinner only? Or sometimes water? I know for the Tamiya you use their thinner. 🍺

Kevin Cobban

Hi Henry, I notice you use contrast paints through the airbrush alot for shading. Why do you use like contrast paint for this method, instead of a standard paint color? thanks!

cultofpaint

@rob maybe not a razorwing but certainly a vehicle or two soon. @john I always use thinner. It’s normally got flow improver etc in it which just makes things easier than only water. I use life colour thinner for everything except Tamiyas. @Kevin I really like contrast paints through the airbrush as they have a strong colour even though they are thin. They are similar to inks in a lot of ways, but more forgiving.

Sam Smith

Great video guys! Makes me want to paint more armies than I possibly can! Very much looking forward to seeing a few more vehicles in the army painting series.

Thanks Henry 🍺

Cheers Henry. Enjoyed seeing the mix of schemes and different washes in one video as a comparrison. I wish I was better at acrylic washes, it does look a good effect. I enjoy the ease of an oil/enamel though.
