Happy weekend Cult,

Excited to share with you the video for painting Sigvald cloak. In this video we use very few colours and simple techniques but get a fantastic result. Back to a normal video here as i thought it was more appropriate for this one!

Colours used are:

Citadel Screamer Pink

AK Black Red or Citadel Gal Vorbak would be ok

Vallejo Ivory or any white/off white

As usual looking forward to your thoughts!

P.S. The sound is a little all over the place as I used 3 different microphones, this was during my microphone testing phase but I am pretty settled on that now moving forward!

Cheers,

Andy

Awesome Andy. Been waiting for this one. Perfect for my Luna Wolf Loken. For the filming. I really like that you kept it showing the whole of your process and the summary at the end. Means when I want a reminder I can skip to the end and watch that before I paint mine. I also really like the time lapse you did at the initial stages rather than the usual, show the first couple of coats and skip to the after shot of each stage. It really helps to see the whole process, even if in time-lapse with no chat. Cheers bud.

Another great video Andy - really like the result you achieved and hearing your thought process throughout. Question: at one point you said that applying a matte varnish would reduce the darkness of the shadows. Can you explain why taking off the shine makes the shadows less dark? Cheers.

Nice one Andy good tutorial, think I'll start with this one as Sigvald is built and ready for priming. Any chance of a paint list for the entire model? There's a couple I'm going to pick up just want to make sure I've got everything for the NMM and such.

great video, its good to know about the matt varnish to make the cloth look soft. I really need to experiment with the different varnishes to see what effects can be achieved

Just curious what PSI you use on your airbrush for this? I usually set mine to 20.
