Hey everyone,

I spent about a week painting a miniature from mind work games. It soon became clear to me this wasn’t the right project for the Monte San Savino show. So I’m very excited to share with you one of my most ambitious projects, Saint Sabbat.

Over the next month I’ll take you on the journey painting a big piece for a very important show to me!

Thanks

Andy

Well, as someone who worked in Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2, five minutes in I am loving this video!

Great video. I have struggled with the “buzz” you described as well. I want to balance practicing techniques on models I think are ok and finishing models so can move to the ones I love. It’s encouraging to hear your perspective.

Always really enjoy these videos where you’re talking about your process and bringing us along with you on your competition journeys - definitely keep going with those. Just bought the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow art book a couple of days ago so the killer vampire skin recipe is both timely and appreciated! 😁 And Patreon exclusive miniatures sound like a super cool idea… 😎

Hi Andy, I really enjoyed the video, it's great to hear about process or process of thought and how your ideas for a project change. I was interested to see you chose to paint the head before the wings as the wings seem to be emitting so much light.
