Hey everyone,

I’m not going to put a video out this week. I’ve been painting like crazy but this project has some huge elements and I’m trying to get them finished before making a video. I’m almost done with the wings, then I’ll paint the sword and that will be my video next week. Then I’ll do a huge video on painting all the NMM gold.

You can see from the size of the mini, it’s hard to paint all the gold in one week and then make a video on it. I’m sure you’ll understand! Just want to always communicate to you what we are up to.

If you have any questions in any subject, I would love to answers those for you in a short video this week.

Hope you enjoy this WIP picture of Sabbat.

At this point Matt should have a counter for how many hours till Monte. So you can throw it out the window... 🤪

I've tried a couple of your masterclass models now Andy and every time I feel like my skill level increases painting along with your vids. As a very experienced and skillful artists how do prevent your painting from plateauing? Do you try and push yourself outside of your comfort zone with just some projects or all projects by trying out new techniques and skills etc? Would love to know more about your thoughts on this!

This is looking like great progress Andy - can’t wait to see the next instalment. As for questions, I’m interested (from the video you did a little while back) what you would recommend as a strategy for making deeper/ higher sided water areas/ square bases without the resin leaking? Cheers.

Can't wait to see the next video so I can get some more inspiration

Looking great! Never a problem to wait for a video!

Looking forward to the next video it’s looking very promising already those Greens are really nice, one question I would have is how to take a decent photo of your miniatures which is something I really struggle with

The wings are looking sick! My question is unrelated to painting. I’m a huge concert goer. Love getting merch. Will there be cult of paint merch? Would love to wear a shirt around

Looks like great progress Andy. Looking forward to seeing it. I've got a couple of questions: - I'd love to know a bit more about the glazing process. I think can be a fair few hours of your workflow for competition pieces (I think you spent a fair while on the cape of the Necron lord). I'd be particularly interested to know how to avoid the process dragging everything into mid-values. (With NMM gold, for example, my layers often look obvious, but when I try and glaze, it dulls the highlights and brightens the shadows and drags everything into the mid-tones)

- Secondly, do you have a view on how to approach improving painting in terms of balancing number of models against time spent per model. I feel like I'm slow at painting and that I might improve quicker if I allow myself to "fail faster"

Hey, Andy. I have a question about painting with a directional light source. What is the best way to approach a consistent look around both the model and the base as a whole? Especially with a round base and multiple models. For example, something your Blood Angels Squad. Really looking forward to seeing how this Sabbat turns out with this vibrant lime green scheme with the NMM. -Cheers

Any quick ideas for painting vials for table top standard? I have to do DG Biologis Putrifier.

Shoot, hope I didn’t miss it. I’d love to get some info on transporting large & fragile display models!
