Hey everyone,

Here is the video diary of me slowly descending to madness! No really I’m having a good time, it’s just everything in this miniature is a challenge. Hope you enjoy this part, I tried to make it relatable as possible.

I hate it when you have models like that- luckily I can just put them to the back of the cupboard and pretend I never started them! Could you not take a break and do something more fun in between? Cheers for persevering btw 👍🏼

Jim Singleton

I enjoy and get a lot out of the vlog style videos. It's always interesting to see the thought that goes into the process and how you overcome various issues

Those wings turned out insane, cant wait to see it all together! Gonna grab peoples attention at the competition for sure

Kieran Mclaughlin

Love the video diary style videos! So imformative to see your thought process and its always a joy to watch you paint, those wings looks class man!

Jordan Richardson

Fuck tutorials, video diary all the way! I get way more out of you doing your thing and talking your way through it.

Todd Wallace

I can't wait to attempt something with that level of luminosity, it's been a real joy to see it come together and can't wait for that gold. Keep it up bud!

Lukas @paintingismyfreedom

This is insane Andy! I epsecially love that Non Metallic Gold...Just wow! Tones, reflections, and those secondary reflections! W-O-W! I'm rambling...I don't know what to say! ♥

Karl

Hi Andy, you mention needing to re do parts and that taking a huge amount of time on the project. Would something essentially like a test model be a good idea, to nail the recipes. Something that doesn't matter about finish and quality etc but allows you to start knowing exactly what paints you want?

Fletcher Giles

Looks absolutely mega at this stage mate, that gold looks unreal. And as always, really enjoy the rambling style videos. Looking forward to the next one.

Hey Andy, I’d just like to echo the previous comments and say the video diary style is amazing. You may not realise it but it’s really instructional to see the decision making process. I feel I’m in the first phase of my painting journey: learning basic techniques such as dilution, brush marking, glazing etc. I need to follow other people’s recipes for almost all of my mini painting because I haven’t done any art for 3 decades. Seeing the process of making the recipes is making me feel that I may make it to “phase 2”.

Wings look incredible. And agree with other comments - video diary style is great
