Jake walked between the colorful trees as he made his way into the clearing with all the Administrators sitting around chatting. As could only be expected, everyone quieted down when they noticed his approach and turned towards him.

Miranda was the first to speak as she gave him a good look from top to bottom. “Went and got yourself an equipment upgrade?”

“May as well enter the next phase of this event as ready as possible,” Jake answered, walking over.

“I see. It looks good,” Miranda said with a nod. “Arnold’s handiwork, I take it?”

“Indeed,” Jake confirmed. “But enough about me. Anything happened here during my absence? Have others left?”

“No, we all stayed behind and discussed what comes next,” Miranda said, waving her hand. “The fact that we Administrators are still here means we must play a role in the upcoming event, and it’s best to ensure now that we’re all on the same side. Unlike galaxies ruled by a singular monolith, we have representatives from many different factions, which could put us at a disadvantage when meeting those who are fully united.”

Jake nodded as he briefly looked around. “Hopefully, that won’t be a problem. Everyone still in the Milky Way Galaxy should be mostly on the same page. If not, they’re free to step down and leave. From what I can see, it’s entirely possible to renounce one’s Administrator role.”

“We’re all smart people here, so I’m sure things will turn out fine,” Kindroth said in a calming voice, speaking for all the World Leaders and other influential people of the galaxy. “We might even be able to turn our melting-pot identity into a strength. While it limits our potential allies, it also makes it less likely for others to target us. I doubt other factions will see a need to make the Milky Way Galaxy and the Order an enemy when they already have plenty of others to deal with, and they even risk just giving their actual foes new allies.”

“True enough,“ Jake nodded as he peacefully took a seat once more opposite Miranda. There was no reason to threaten or throw his weight around anymore, and from the looks of it, Miranda and Kindroth had everything handled.

“By the way, when I returned to the Seat of the Exalted Prima, I...”

Seeing no reason not to, Jake shared what he’d learned with the others about his new privileges as a Chief Administrator, leaving only a few things out, such as the surveillance camera stuff, which he kept vague on purpose, as such an ability could come in handy later on.

Instead, he primarily focused on the existence of the teleportation gates and the many areas of the Seat of the Exalted Prima that one could explore. Jake hadn’t even bothered going close to everywhere in the large space station, and encouraged the others to do so if they didn’t want to sit around for a couple of days waiting for this part of the system event to end.

Quite a few took Jake up on his offer as they went to explore the Seat of the Exalted Prima. Miranda also ended up curious about this control room Jake mentioned, as she perhaps picked up on Jake not sharing everything one could do there.

Kindroth ended up staying within the Administrator’s Terrace alongside quite a few other Administrators. Jake also considered leaving, but ultimately decided he could meditate wherever and that perhaps staying around others would make them less frightened of him.

Thus, he decided to do a bit of healthy meditation, diving into his Soulspace, where he took some time to properly inspect and try to interact with Eternal Hunger. The mythical cursed weapon took the shape of his Eternal Shadow as it sat cross-legged within his internal world, looking as if it were meditating.

It was a big difference from when it had been a chimera that Jake had to keep locked down to prevent it from rampaging around. The Sin Curse seemed almost calm now, even if it had grown significantly since the time Jake had first crafted Eternal Hunger.

With every kill, it absorbed some small portion of his target’s soul, empowering itself and gaining more Records. Jake had killed a lot of powerful people who had quality Records, so while every random kill hadn’t done much to fuel the already powerful curse, it had grown by a substantial degree. Of course, being a Sin Curse, it would never be satisfied but just keep growing in power, which was something Jake had initially been a bit wary of.

When he did the dungeon with Casper, the Risen had warned Jake that making the Sin Curse too powerful could become a risk due to its influence on his soul. Usually, housing a curse like this was a constant battle of suppression, a lot like it had been initially with Eternal Hunger.

Yet after it merged with Sim-Jake and helped form the Eternal Shadow skill, all aggression was gone. Shit, Jake could barely feel the innate sense of hunger from the cursed being within his Soulspace either. It seemed that no matter how powerful the curse grew, it wouldn’t have any negative effects on Jake, which really didn’t make any sense based on all the research Jake had done and what Casper had said.

Not that his Bloodline doing stuff that didn’t make sense was anything new. It was almost expected at this point that it would bring about unforeseen changes and never-before-seen skills that didn’t align at all with the norms of the multiverse.

Anyway, the Sin Curse manifestation not being affected by anything seemed like a good thing on the surface as it was growing stronger with time, but it did also mean that it was “locked” in a way. Jake couldn’t do much to affect the Eternal Shadow skill or see any method to improve it. It was as if the Records of the skill weren’t fully accessible to him, which, again, really made little sense.

It was obviously related to the Origin of the skill being partly Sim-Jake, so his best bet was that the concepts related to simulations could help give Jake some insight. If not, he feared he would eventually have to try to “break” the skill and reform it into something more manageable, but Jake really didn’t have good experiences when it came to messing with powerful skills.

Time passed surprisingly quickly as Jake tried to analyse Eternal Hunger as best he could, and soon enough, he noticed that everyone else in the outside world had returned to the Administrator’s Terrace. He slowly emerged from meditation and let his senses return, just in time to hear Miranda speak.

“Should be within the next couple of minutes unless the other voting periods were longer than a day.”

Opening his eyes, Jake responded. “Even if they were, it shouldn’t be that much longer.”

Miranda seemed a little surprised at Jake’s response as she raised an eyebrow and gave him a knowing look. “You’re always frighteningly aware of your surroundings, aren’t you?”

Jake understood the assignment as he shrugged. “What can I say? I’m the worst person to organize a surprise party for. Assuming you want it to be a surprise.”

It was a light-hearted response that still very much communicated Jake’s level of absurdity. Usually, meditation was considered a rather risky endeavor, as one had to sever all senses while using the skill, so for Jake to still be aware despite using Meditate was very abnormal.

“Duly noted, no surprise parties for you, then,” Miranda joked along. “Though I do find myself tempted to try, and even though I know it’ll be-“

She didn’t get any further, as a system message finally popped up in front of them all, making her shut up instantly. Good thing she did, because Jake wouldn’t have continued listening as he quickly scanned what the system had thrown their way this time around.

From a quick initial look... it seemed like things were finally about to get started for real.

The Chief Administrator Selection has successfully concluded across the 93rd Universe.

With all Chief Administrators elected, the Exalted Prima believes the universe is ready to experience the World of the Exalted Prima. Access to the World of the Exalted Prima has been granted to all Administrators and Chief Administrators.

The World of the Exalted Prima is an original simulated reality created by the Exalted Prima. The Exalted Prima thus determines the rules of the world and has created certain rules that all within must adhere to.

To enter this simulated reality, one must enter through the Seat of the Exalted Prima, using the private rooms available. While within the World of the Exalted Prima, one’s true body is kept absolutely safe within the Seat of the Exalted Prima.

While immersed in the World of the Exalted Prima, experience can be earned at a reduced rate.

Rewards unique to the World of the Exalted Prima may be obtained within, granting certain bonuses only usable in the simulated reality. Nothing obtained within the World of the Exalted Prima can be brought into reality unless otherwise specified. This applies to both tangible and intangible rewards.

Dying within the World of the Exalted Prima will result in losing access for a minimum of thirty (30) days, but this lockout period may be extended dependent on the circumstances of the death.

The Exalted Prima wishes you luck and looks forward to seeing your expression within his world.

For a dozen seconds, the entire Administrator’s Terrace was silent as everyone read the message several times, with no one keen to be the first to speak. There was a lot of information within this small message, but it basically boiled down to one thing:

They now had access to a simulated world created by the Exalted Prima.

Seeing as no one else seemed keen on speaking, Jake decided to go first. “Seems like our best course of action is not to delay and just enter the simulation.”

“I happen to be in full agreement,” Miranda said as she stood up and motioned toward Jake. “After you, our Chief Administrator.”

Jake gave her a small smile as he stood up and led their large group towards the gateway. It was kind of good Jake had explored before, as he quickly opened the portal leading to the many private rooms available. These private rooms were located in a long hallway that had more than a thousand small rooms in it already, and Jake had a feeling that there could be more, dependent on how many were able to enter the World of the Exalted Prima.

“We might not know what’s within this simulation, but hopefully, we will not be separated upon entering,” Miranda said as they entered the hallway. “If we are split, simply progress as the system intends, and we should be able to meet up, assuming that’s even a possibility.”

“And if it isn’t, continue on your own and prove you’re worthy of being Administrators,” Jake said, speaking to all the others following him, giving them what he believed to be encouraging words.

There really wasn’t a need to say more as they all scurried into their own small, private rooms. Jake entered a random one and, using his Sphere of Perception, watched as others entered their rooms as well.

In the center of the small private room was a metal platform with magical scripts on it, and as Jake walked up and stepped on it, a system message appeared.

Enter the World of the Exalted Prima?

Before accepting, Jake watched as no one around him disappeared, but instead seemed to fully freeze after stepping on the metal platforms. It was as if their time had frozen, which Jake guessed was what happened when one entered the simulation.

He also recognized that all the private rooms locked once someone entered, in that the entrance simply disappeared, sealing off every room fully. Seeing no reason to delay further, Jake accepted the prompt as his vision shifted.

In the next moment, Jake saw light and colors as soft ground appeared beneath his feet. Beside him, people appeared one by one, but Jake barely had time to register his surroundings before yet another system message popped up in front of him.

Welcome to the World of the Exalted Prima.

You find yourself in a world created and controlled by the Exalted Prima, and while here, you must adhere to certain rules. Going against the rules may result in exclusion from the World of the Exalted Prima or other punishments.

The World of the Exalted Prima is a persistent simulated world inhabited by those capable of entering from the many Seats of the Exalted Primas spread throughout the 93rd Universe. Each Seat’s Galaxy has been granted a starting territory.

As the Chief Administrator of the Milky Way Galaxy Seat of the Exalted Prima, you are in control of the territory assigned to your galaxy.

Due to your galaxy’s performance in prior system events, your territory has been designated a Tier 1 territory, granting access to more resources and a greater area of influence. More information can be found at the Territory Beacon placed in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy Territory.

If this Territory Beacon is destroyed, the Milky Way Galaxy will lose its territory. If any member of your galaxy destroys other Territory Beacons, the territories assigned to that beacon will become part of the Milky Way Galaxy territory. The power of the Territory Beacon is dependent on the total area it controls.

The Exalted Prima has decreed that a Preparation Phase will start out the competition between galaxies. During the Preparation Phase, no one can leave the assigned territories of their galaxies. Once the Preparation Phase is over, the competition shall begin in earnest.

Preparation Phase duration: Seven (7) days.

It was yet another long system message that contained a lot of information. Information that finally gave some context as to the purpose of this World of the Exalted Prima. Turning around, Jake found himself standing right in front of a large pillar that was nearly a hundred meters tall and looked more like some modern art installation. It was filled with magical scripts from top to bottom and was made entirely of some kind of glossy metal.

Jake also noted that, as he stood there, he was somehow vividly aware he was within a simulated world. Everything felt normal. The large, barren plain they stood on was reminiscent of what Jake had seen on several planets before, and the peaceful wind and faint heat from the sun were fully realistic. Yet Jake knew this all wasn’t real. It didn’t feel like this knowledge came from Jake’s Bloodline, making him think this was something everyone felt.

Regarding the system message itself, Jake had a lot of thoughts, but he didn’t have much time to consider them as the person next to him spoke.

“So this is what we have to protect,” Miranda said while looking at the Territory Beacon, which had appeared right next to Jake, perhaps due to her assignment as Jake’s second-in-command. “Doesn’t seem that fragile, at least.”

“It isn’t,” Jake said, getting a strong feeling from the large beacon.

“But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t make proper defenses,” Miranda continued, having clearly already started formulating a plan in her head. “Say, can you see if this Territory Beacon has any special functions? I don’t seem to have access to anything.”

“Sure,” Jake said as he mentally reached out to the Territory Beacon using his authority as the Chief Administrator, and...

Yeah, that was another huge wall of text from the system right there, as the Territory Beacon had a lot of functions.

First regression, now city building, the Exalted Prima must be a big fan of Prog Fantasy tropes

Andyr98

Capture the flag/age of empire arc let go!!

Dániel Plachy

I just want sim-Jake to regain consciousness somehow... tyftc

Unwillingmainer

Hmmm, this seems like a great opportunity for the various powerhouses of the new universe to duke it out without people ending up dead. Even if the rewards are limited and restricted in here, it should be very valuable in just the experience.

Darshar Griffonmane

Did...the system just create a MOBA game for the universe? There are going to have to be some massive benefits for folks since xp gain is reduced.. tyftc!

Fdrugc

"he noticed that everything else around him in the outside world had returned to the Administrator’s Terrace" What does this mean?

Thank u for the story

Lizy Flore

So… basically capture the flag ?

E S

Looks like their mishmash of factions will turn out to be a strength since this is basically a game where all abilities are useful

NinjaDad

Definitely see another match between Jake and the SS, but only after one of them puts the Monk in his place.

Seppiman

Thank you for the Chapter!

BumAssBumAss

Territory war event? Wonder how long this will last.

djthomp

So, an ongoing tower defense game? I'm curious to see how that plays out in the long term, sure Jake will likely dominate but he's not just going to stay here permanently to defend the beacon.

The Ravenger

Reminds me of sup com with my buddies with the safety period at the start of the match. I like the vibe.

granndfunk

I was thinking Tower Defense

DragooMind

Is it time for the RTS segment?

Cory S.

We are going to get some good fights in for sure. With no chance to really die, Jake and Sword Saint can get their true duel again. Will get to see Jake fight a lot of the 93rd Universe’s elites it seems. What’s coming should be awesome.

I Is Patron

Just to be sure. When the system says the true body will be safe, does that include the true soul or will they be to actually die from soul damage?

Eden

Yeah, may seem like milkyway is weakened by this, but actually beneficial csuse thry will have more allies with their own territory, vs if everyone just stayed in thr milkyway thrybwoulda been under same bannerz but less territory to work with.

Eden

Kindroth is actually gonna be a major boon in this if hr doesnt betray jake.

Michael mann

Universal scale capture the flag? Hell yeah!

Eden

Yeah, means jake doesnt really have to worry about competing against those factions yet from thr start atleast.

Eden

Seems like its the land god of the world wonder, the exalted prima that did. System just faciliates it with system bullshit.

Borbino the great

That would actually be so cool I can’t wait for Jake to run around sniping everyone’s beacons too

Borbino the great

I think Jake is just going to go around sniping everyone’s beacons and making Miranda figure out the whole defense thing

Sachieiel

It seems like the system is trying to assure that there are no negative consequences from entering the simulated world, so I'd assume no soul damage either.

Borbino the great

I think they’ll end up being the last fight of this whole thing after they finish knocking down everyone else

Gracie

tftc can't wait for the biggest game of capture the flag. 🖥🚩🏁

Borbino the great

Same I hope when he upgrades it to sacred we’ll see him or some version of him atleast when he uses the skill actively imagine having sin Jake in combat as a close range fighter and real Jake as the archer while maintaining the ability to decide which one he wants to make real

Episode 19

They just got Full Dive VR, kinda jealous, well here’s to a fun tower defense game Tyftc

definitelynotbrjenness

On,y two paragraphs in, but I felt the need to point out a couple flaws in kindroth's logic... 1. Being a melting pot increases the potential allies. 2. Jake being there makes them off limits to some, but serious competitors have to target milky way Gotta say, Kindroth could be based on a lot of politicians, except he is a little more useful and isn't 100% focused on his own personal power and wealth.

Skarpi

Mistake; it's should "everyone else" instead of "everything else".

Lynderyn

Capture the flag, universe edition

zran

Likely it protects against everything, since from the start this even stated people could not die and instead get expelled if that happened

zran

During the first 7 days jake(or anyonelse) cannot attack other territories, so he will busy doing management work alongside miranda... Unless he manages to find a way to hand over the rights to play with the beacon

Andrew Woodard

And we're not going to get to the wall of text, because Jake is going to find the "shunt all responsibility to Miranda" button rofl

Andrew Woodard

I wonder if Jake will be able to one-shot snipe any towers

Meadow

Jake ain’t gonna read any of that lol, poor Miranda

definitelynotbrjenness

How many beacons can Jake shoot without leaving his territory? Will Jake 'cheat" like that?

definitelynotbrjenness

No one can leave assigned territories... big difference from not attacking.

Bookreader97

Would be interesting if his sphere of perception didn’t work in the simulation. Like he could still only see around his real body. Also, wouldn’t his intuition and danger sense be all wonky if there’s no real danger

Josie

So we're basically playing Risk lol

Bookreader97

Jake’s gonna be taking down pylons from a planet away

Bookreader97

We may even be able to see sword saint go all out without losing levels

Bookreader97

Not to mention William and his Karma bullshit and Miranda and her witch traps.

ByLordMatsLuck

Jake and the Sword saint again should be awesome. Dude has been training for thousands and thousands of years by this point

Bookreader97

Just occurred to me that Z HAD to have Arnold stay behind. He would have been way too over powered in this event. Like good luck breaking the pylon when it’s wearing a void sweater and looks like a tree

RonGAR

Holding back information w/ ppl like Kindroth, Miranda, and most importantly, William(Karma magic) around, is useless and makes you look deceitful.

Joken

Don’t forget that the Milky Way and esp earth are the source of incredible records, so that 5 were chosen of primordials, 1 runemaiden of Valdemar, multiple further high blessings of primordials or peak gods and the list goes on. I cannot imagine the melting pot being an issue, people want to be a part of the Milky Way and stay on the neutral to good side of the order. The alternative is not fun. So I do understand Kindroths logic

definitelynotbrjenness

I felt kindroth's logic backwards in that he stated it limited the potential allies.

Joken

Ouuuhhhh I can’t wait for Jake to tame that sassy dragon lady from Nevermore. Didn’t she and her father want to show him what a real true dragon is capable of?

Loststar7

Happy Monday and TFTC. May the pending battles be truly glorious.

DeamoniumDraco

I think he is coming from competing factions like the Risen and Holy Church. Yeah having a little of everyone isn't bad, and even good, but it also leaves you with smaller groups on your side being sniper at potentially by their rivals. So a potential source of extreme chaos. But that is all Miranda's problem until they piss her off enoigh to send Jake at them lol

Daniel Hamilton

It should be pretty interesting, I’m curious if his skills gonna be able to somehow become fully active, allowing two Jake’s to run around, have him go out and explore while the other one guards the pylon. Or as it was stated, unlock the full power of the Sin.

Morazain

With this, I have changed it from 69 comments to 70. I an truly evil.

Morazain

Or it was before I refreshed the page and know this is the 76th comment XD

NicN

Tftc

definitelynotbrjenness

New game, we leave comments at 69 everyday. No tftc or frist or lol, just straight up 68 actual comments and 1 ree. If the count reaches 70, we have to bump it to 420 and then stop.

Xander

TFTC :) Hope everyone had a great weekend :) So Jake and everyone are now playing an MMO within their MMO world? Suggested edits: "he noticed that *everything* else around him in the outside world" should be "everyone" "tempted to try, and even ** I know it’ll be-" feels like missing word "though"

Cory S.

Yeah before this event I never thought that those on earth would go to other galaxies in the 93rd to control them separately from the Milky Way but it makes sense to do this instead of just the Milky Way being strong now the entire universe will have strong peak tier leadership. The 93rd is most definitely shaping up to be an unrivaled powerhouse in the future.

Momiji3177

I believe it would be similar to the challenge dungeons, where it's active but not in pure instinct mode unless he wants it to.

GeneticSloth

tftc! time to dump all responsibility of the territory beacon to Miranda!

definitelynotbrjenness

Is zog baiting us with the "no one allowed to LEAVE territory" rule. I suspect he thinks we'll all think Jake can shoot a bunch of pylons before the competition begins and then tomorrow will start with an explanation of Jake thinking of that and finding out he can't. Jake debating which to shoot and which to not shoot could be fun. He leaves the dragons thinking they are cool with him and then they attack him the second and the game begins. Jake shoots SS's beacon with an arrow that has no power behind it just to rile up the old man. Last paragraph tomorrow is Miranda explaining to Jake that everybody is going to attack them because he has shown he can destroy their beacons at any time and now he's the asshole. But sadly, it's a false trail and Jake nukes will have to wait.

Momiji3177

I'm personally seeing it as similar to the nevermore challenge dungeons. Something like if Jake goes full instinct, he may have some bloodline caused sould damage that would last, but everything else is fine. Although it would be nice to have a place where Jake could go all out with no consequences.

Christophe H.

Not mmo I think of something more or less, RTS, or maybe a battle royal.

definitelynotbrjenness

Ok...Jake is exploring the territory, see's someone in neighboring territory and shoots arrow thinking a barrier will stop it and noise will scare the neighbor. Jake humor. Arrow hits neighbor. Jake, "sorry, didn't think that would work." Then his eyes get big and he starts charging an arcane powershot at something in the distance.

PathOfPen

Unless the beacon has a function that allows it to follow the Chief Administrator around, Miranda’s rituals are gonna be quite useful. I really hope Jake doesn’t have to stay behind babysitting it

Dan

This is gonna be a lot of people's opportunity to pop off and experiment big time with their abilities. I can see a lot of skill upgrades happening here, and not just for Jake either.

UNKNOWN

I can't wait for Jake to start sniping people from 5 postal codes over.

Patrick Strickin

Wait who are the third, fourth and fifth chosens of primordials? Obviously there’s Sword Saint - Aeonclock and Jake - Villy, but I can’t think of anyone else

Shandlar

A ten trillion team RTS winner take all battle? What the fuck Zog, that is awesome.

Xksi

Seems that us strategy fans will be eating good! Can't wait for the war games 😁🤘🏻

definitelynotbrjenness

Could count Arnold because Oras might be older than primordial. If you want to continue expanding to peeps who aren't chosen, but might be some day: Caleb, Casper, Carmen, Jacob, Miranda, Maria...and others. Not sure who could take us to 5 chosen by a strict definition.

Ian

I can't wait to see more fighting / madness from Miranda. This seems like the perfect setup to showoff her class!

definitelynotbrjenness

Forgot Sandy...anyway, irrelevant. His point is the diverse collection of powerful people from earth makes it easier to find allies. The important part is he agrees with me that being a melting pot makes finding allies easier. Please ignore the part where he says kindroth is correct. That doesn't agree with me and is thusly unimportant.

Josie

You know... we're not considering what inherent dangers this world may have. We can see some interesting alliances and feuds with the denizens of this simulation too 🤔

Shop JPL

Its gonna be WoW. Alliance vs the Horde

UNKNOWN

Wait, the rules of the simulation are perfect for another no-holds-barred rematch between the Sword Saint and Jake. As death is merely a temporary setback.

definitelynotbrjenness

Doot, Doota, Doooda, Doot!!!!! To arms, to arms fellow patreons that purchased the most recent book or have kindle unlimited. Zog is getting review bombed by sweaty fat losers who think "prose" is more important than writing an interesting story. Come my brothers and sisters, we must fight back. I assumed zog is at the point that reviews bringing in new readers isn't that important in the broader spectrum, but to quote a very wise and famous person, "No one wants to see numbers go down." Rally to support the Malefic One and remember, no mentioning cliffhanger addiction or monkey harem.

Rewdan

What a great way to start the week, thanks Zogarth

Andyr98

There giving Miranda prep time and Jake time to do alchemy

Rewdan

Miranda will be doing the most in regard to defences. Plus William and the others will be able to easily defend the territory.

Rewdan

Turning them green or making them offering to Villy

Rewdan

You’re right I didn’t think about the possibility of native creatures. However I do think that there are many foes to be found along with many allies

definitelynotbrjenness

hmmmm...a world where people not willing to put there lives on the line can fight and improve skills for a reduced reward. Is the system seeking to increase the combat capabilities of the low end of the talent pool instead of continuing to focus on the pinnacle? Could a calamity be approaching?

Jimbo

So, nerfed experience and no real bonuses or cool rewards? Bah.

Paul Reading

Not necessarily on the cool rewards front cause could you imagine something like a ticket that lets you create a perfect system guaranteed simulation that you can customize to your hearts content like letting Jake try to break and fix the Eternal Shadow skill with no downsides just to see what happens

definitelynotbrjenness

yeah, it can also be a tool for those at the pinnacle to truly face off against one another without one having to die, I am guessing one of the tewards given will allow the administrators to bring in troops and thought it would be a great way to reveal jake's parents history as assassins in hiding.

John Durrett

tyftc. "The power of the Territory Beacon is dependent on the total area it controls." Meaning its a military weapon as well from the sounds of it.

GloinJr

The "unless otherwise specified" addendum is very important here. It means there are rewards for the main universe in addition to simulation exclusive ones. If I had to guess, most of the powerful rewards are gonna end up being main universe rewards. That being said it seems like a lot of the value of this place is for low-mid talents to go all out without fear of death to maybe improve their talent or skills

Alan Zhang

I am unreasonably excited for this arc

Beef Wrench

I want Jake to shoot an area directly at some other galaxies beacon from his haha. It's so impractical but, would be super hilarious for him to just try it

Fitzgibbon

What an interesting mirror of the post-tutorial era.

SereneHush

This is a system event for the 93rd universe, so the 'golden dragons clan' or whatever their name was are not capable of attending.

Kevin Watson

is this system event a 4X game? tftc

Kevin Watson

definitely not no rewards, it was directly stated that specific things can be brought out, and like Jake is focused on- you could obtain conceptual understanding unique to this simulated world

Fore stumbler

I'm pulling for Jake but it seems like the holy church has the advantage on this one. They are the largest factions. And probably have multiple beacons. But the order also have multiple. just that the church probably has more. However this is a knockout battle with a 30 day time out so who knows. Anyway looking forward to seeing it. And remember pretty much everyone who is on the nevermore leader board is in this competition.

Kimesh

Does anyone know if there will be Chapis over the Easterholidays. In DK days off start at thursday

Elijah Soleil

Could this world be a new great planet?

Sloth

It might say nerfed experience. Doesn’t necessarily mean nerfed records though

Zogarth is gresr about letting us know if we wont be receiving any chapter for any reason. He will most likely let us know by Friday if we wonr have a Monday Chapter

definitelynotbrjenness

definitelynotbrjenness

shush!!! the malefic author is looking for an excuse to skip a day so the 0's and 5's align.

That is exactly how I understood it as well

Oooooo this is a game of risk and conquering territories. Tyftc Zogi.

We might actually see a lot more out of Holstred and considering he was a commander before his short stint as a slave this kind of event could be perfect for him. Plus I always got the impression he was a C grade before Jake and other elites of earth reached the grade. I don't recall if it was never mentioned if it was a perfect evolution.. but I am going to assume his evolution to B grade was.

Biggy smalls

Numbers don't really matter. Especially if you've got allies of your own Which Jake most certainly has.

Raymond Whitehead

Looks like the Snack of Yore is on hold for a while yet, but that will make it only sweeter when jake finally remembers to go grab it

Rule #1 of the monkey harem, don't mention the monkey harem.

I mean… the rules say he can’t leave the territory for seven days. Doesn’t say his arrows can’t leave. Definitely worth trying.

Nah. Miranda commanding the defense (with the ability to message Jake in a crisis) while Jake roams around destroying neighboring beacons.

Arieh Sochaczevski

Thanks for the chapter! I’m fully expecting Jake to get bored and walk out after a day or so. Why would he care at ask about a video game? There hasn’t even been any indication of a goal or loot. Just an administration/logistics game.

I read this this morning but my brain just wouldnt turn on. have to read it again tonight see if i know how to read again

I think the part that's important is tbat they don't know what the reward is yet, other than probably greater control of the Seat. Jake's already seen benefits from the simpler portions of the event finishing, so I can't imagine he'd be dumb enough to just nuke his galaxy's chance of winning by losing them their strongest weapon. Not only that, this environment is exactly what Jake's been looking for to upgrade Eternal Shadow, which will probably be one of his greatest rewards til now as well as one of his 3 strongest skills

I want to see Jake fully unleash his "eternal hunger" in simulated reality.
