Jake sat in meditation as he was suddenly woken up by the loud sound of something moving. Through his sphere, he saw that the huge door in the room had started opening, and a second later, the familiar projection of the Cyclops Majordomo popped into existence from the portal-like doorway.

The cyclops regarded Jake for a few moments before sighing. “You should have had time to study the material given to you, right? Wait, don’t answer; I’m just going to assume you have and live with the knowledge I did all I could to prepare you, and whatever happens next is entirely on you.”

Again, Jake couldn’t help but hope that somehow the final stage of this Central Domain scenario would involve being able to beat the damn Majordomo up for being such an asshole. Alas, as things were, he could only play along as he stood up, not even bothering to answer the cyclops.

That didn’t seem to bother the Majordomo at all as he motioned behind him. “Simply pass through this door, and you’ll join the others for the audience with the Abundant Emperor in the throne room. I’ll bring you all in together, so there might be a slight delay dependent on how fast one is to enter the gate. Which is to say that you standing there might keep others waiting.”

Suppressing his continued annoyance, Jake walked towards the gate, not being overly in a rush, nor being too slow. Soon enough, he walked through the glowing door into what was clearly a portal, appearing in a massive white void, which he could only guess was effectively a waiting room.

So he waited, and after another twenty or so seconds, Jake felt himself being transported elsewhere. The next thing he knew, Jake found himself standing within a massive hall that was naturally also cyclops-sized. He was standing with giant steps in front of him leading up to a gaudy throne, with everything made with overly intricate designs and way too much gold.

Pillars were placed down the hall, looking as decorative as they were functional, with a red carpet so thin it made the ground feel entirely flat running down the stairs from the throne, with Jake and the others standing on it.

Speaking of others, as expected, Jake was not alone for this audience. He was joined by nine other figures, a number he assumed wasn’t random but chosen quite purposefully by the system. It liked its top 10s, so it made sense that it would only send 10 to this stage.

As for who these ten were, surprisingly, Jake recognized every single person, save for one, as he scanned them.

The first one he saw was Golden Forest King, who he really wasn’t surprised to see. Jake knew the Unique Lifeform had gotten a lot stronger after evolving to B-grade, and honestly, he would have relentlessly bullied the poor guy if he had failed to get there.

Next was the Cerulean Demon Prince. Jake had met him before during this event, and honestly, everyone would predict him to make it there.

Then there was the Disciple of Lucenti, whom Jake remembered from the Nevermore afterparty. Back then, he hadn’t been entirely sure, but now he was, and he also had a feeling he should mentally rename this honestly quite majestic white stag the Chosen of Lucenti. He still reminded Jake of the Great White Stag he’d battled during his Tutorial, to the point that he wouldn’t even be surprised if they shared an Origin. Those deer did have Lucenti in their name back then. As for whether he was surprised to see the stag there... a little? Mainly due to a lack of information about the beast, though. Either way, the United Tribes had to be happy to have a member among the top ten for this side-event within the World Wonder.

Beside this stag, still a few hundred meters away, the Sword Saint stood, looking as relaxed and confident as ever. Again, Jake wasn’t surprised about this one. He was now the Chosen of the Primordial of Time, and Jake would have been super disappointed if he hadn’t made it there.

Next up was Aishalstromoz of the Regalflight. She was back in her humanoid form as she threw the white stag a smile. The two gave each other a nod of recognition, making Jake wonder if perhaps they knew each other. That, or they just recognized they were the only two beasts present. Either way, yeah, she wasn’t a surprise either. She had already been powerful in C-grade, and now as a full-fledged True Dragon, Aisha was undoubtedly far more powerful. Plus, she had a Path somewhat similar to the Chosen of the Heartsoul Daolord, so Jake felt kind of confident fighting her should it come down to it.

With the next one, Jake wouldn’t say he was surprised, but he wouldn’t have had anything against it if he hadn’t been there. Wintermaul, the ice elemental that was a little too chummy with Sylphie, had also qualified and was looking around the room, appearing a bit perplexed. Jake had a good idea who he was looking for, too, but she was just one of several he had expected to see.

Jake had expected someone from Valhal to show. He hadn’t expected that someone to be Warlord Davion of Valhal, whom Jake recalled had been one of Carmen’s party members in Nevermore. Instead, he thought Carmen would have been the one in the room. However, now that he felt the warrior’s aura, he could understand why he was there. He couldn’t say the same about the next person, though.

William? Yeah, that one definitely surprised Jake. How the fuck had the metal and karma mage made it to the throne room? Sure, Jake knew the guy was stronger than he let on, but he wasn’t that strong, was he? He definitely stood out like a sore thumb among all the others present. Then again, the more Jake thought about it, the more it seemed his presence did make some sense. Karmic magic was really fucky, and the antechambers had all been huge free-for-alls, so maybe he’d found some way to mess with people and just ensured he was the last survivor? He would definitely ask William later, but for now, Jake was more focused on the tenth and final person.

The Eastbound Monk.

Jake had never met this man before, only heard rumors, and now that they were in the same room... he didn’t get it? Out of everyone in the room, the one giving off the weakest aura was by far the Eastbound Monk, and Jake wouldn’t even have recognized him if he hadn’t seen a projection of how he looked before coming to the Central Domain.

Usually, Jake was pretty damn good at judging how powerful people were, even if they purposefully tried to hide it. He could feel that everyone else present was pretty strong, William included, but the Eastbound Monk felt weaker than even the average elite. Something that made Jake feel some genuine unease, because when he imagined fighting the monk he felt... unsure.

Something was whispering in the back of his mind to be careful, yet his other senses told him that the monk wasn’t dangerous in the slightest. Perhaps it had something to do with his utterly non-threatening aura. Everyone tended to leak some bloodlust or killing intent if their Paths even had a shred of killing in them, yet with the Eastbound Monk, there was nothing. Like a total pacifist who could never hurt a child, he stood there praying, looking upset more than anything while inside his own world of prayer. Hugely different from everyone else, who was either scouting their surroundings or checking out who else had made it to the room, Jake felt several presences scan him, and eyes lock on him.

The ten people in this room were definitely powerful, but it also made Jake realize just how brutal the antechambers had been. Where was Carmen? Sylphie? Dina? Casper? Lopas? Others from the C-grade Nevermore Leaderboards? He also knew several other factions had powerful people present, yet none of them had made it to this stage. Then again, should he be surprised, given how insane the antechamber culling had been? Going by how many geniuses had been slaughtered?

Shit, he’d taken out Azal and the Chosen of the Heartsoul Daolord himself, two people who no one would have been surprised to see present either. The only thing Azal could at least be a little happy about was that the Holy Church didn’t make it either, which was bonkers in itself. The largest faction in the multiverse had failed to have a single person in the top 10 for this event.

It should also be pointed out how crazy Earth was if it were considered a stand-alone faction. Four of those present in the throne room were from Earth, and if not for the culling leaving only ten alive for this stage, if just twenty would have made it, he reckoned at least two or three more would have been added to that number.

Another noteworthy observation was that half of those present were humans. Jake, the Sword Saint, William, Davion, and the Eastbound Monk were all of the human race, and while it was the most populous race in the multiverse, it was definitely an outlier that half of those making it to the end of an event like this were from the same race. Well, unless some cooperation or something like that was involved in why one got there.

Granted, it also played a role that some race-specific groups weren’t very involved. Jake hadn’t seen a single member of the Endless Empire despite knowing they were in the World of the Exalted Prima, and while he wasn’t sure whether the Automata were present, he hadn’t seen them either. There was also the Starborn who tended to do well in events, but given this one was limited to early B-grade, they didn’t have anyone low enough level to take part.

As Jake was in thought, considering semi-useless things, no one else spoke either. The Eastbound Monk was in silent prayer while everyone else considered who else was there, while generally being unsure what would happen next. They had all been teleported to the throne room, but nothing else had happened since, and more than a minute had already passed.

Jake also couldn’t see what else was going on, as the entire throne room was its own little dimension, with the only way in and out seemingly being two huge double doors. One behind them, which was more like a giant gate than any kind of door, and one off to the side in front of them, behind the throne. It wasn’t difficult to guess that the Abundant Emperor would be coming from that door; the question was when.

Also, yes, his desire to punch the Majordomo in the nose was only increasing by the second, as why the hell had the damn cyclopes rushed them all so much to get done when the Abundant Emperor clearly wasn’t ready to receive them either? Wait, why was Jake even taking this entire scenario seriously? It was clearly some kind of scripted event, and he could only assume that this waiting period was intended. Perhaps even some kind of test.

Given they had just gone through a grueling fight and had been fully healed, it wasn’t far-fetched to assume they would fight again, except Jake remembered the rules for the throne room, and one of them was definitely to avoid fighting. Spilling blood on the carpet would be poor etiquette, after all, even if it was already red.

One person who didn’t seem to have read the poster on how to act suddenly got very loud, though, as a voice echoed through the hall.

“Where is Miss Sylphie? Who has dared to raise a hand against her?” Wintermaul’s voice echoed through the throne room, full of anger, which only annoyed Jake, and based on the Sword Saint frowning and the Forest King slowly turning his head towards the ice elemental, they weren’t fans either.

Jake didn’t like Wintermaul, but he would be lying if he said he wasn’t curious. Sylphie was strong. Very strong. He wouldn’t say she was quite at the same level as the King or the Sword Saint, who had both had a great growth spurt recently, but she wasn’t far behind. Though in truth, he was more curious who had taken down Lopas, as that sloth had seemed incredibly dangerous to Jake during their brief encounter.

Also, wait, where was Eron? Wasn’t that dude practically immortal? How hadn’t he managed to survive a free-for-all fight? The only explanation was that he hadn’t been part of this event or something, but Jake couldn’t understand why he wouldn’t have.

The room was quiet even after Wintermaul asked. No one showed any strong reaction to the question, and no one else was doing anything except the Eastbound Monk, who continued to hold his prayer beads and mumble to himself.

As Jake was trying to read everyone, he suddenly felt a telepathic poke from William to form a link, and as he did, he realized he wasn’t the only one on the line. The Sword Saint and King were also mentally connected through the karma mage, as the Unique Lifeform was the first to speak.

“I’m surprised to see you here, Heretic mage. Your karmic magic must be more powerful than I imagined. That, or you managed to somehow find yourself in an antechamber with complete weaklings.”

Jake concurred with those statements as William answered.

“I was fortunate that I found myself in a scenario where my skill set was enough. However, that’s not why I reached out,” William said, sounding a little tired, the reason for which became clear immediately. “I scanned the karmic traces on everyone here besides us four and have some insights. I estimate that Davion had the easiest antechamber of those I scanned, while the others, especially the Demon Prince and Wintermaul, had fairly difficult antechambers, given the depths of the karma left upon their souls.”

It seemed like a bad time to interrupt and ask about how the hell karmic depth or whatever worked mid-explanation, so Jake kept quiet, a part of him having already given up trying to comprehend the concept of karma, as the mage continued.

“Yet by far, the one who carries the most karma is the Eastbound Monk. It’s so heavy it’s nearly hard to comprehend. I recognize traces of the Sylphian Hawk, the newly appointed Ghost King from Earth, the Runemaiden, Lopas, and so many more... and I feel a profound sense of regret from him. A desire to repay the karmic debt.”

Yeah, Jake still didn’t at all understand how all that karma stuff worked, but he did understand that despite feeling like the weakest person in the room, the Eastbound Monk had killed some of the strongest people involved in this event. That in itself was already shocking, but what was more shocking was that he’d faced them together.

At least Sylphie and Carmen would have teamed up to face him, yet they had lost. While Jake believed he could also take both of them on at the same time, it sure as hell wouldn’t be easy.

“If we are to fight, I would advise caution,” the Sword Saint added. “In fact, while it may sound cowardly, it would be preferable if this stage does not include combat. An arena like this is far too chaotic. Even though I would love to fight the monk, this setting wouldn’t allow for a proper duel.”

Jake did agree with that one. The throne room was big, yes, but if the ten of them started fighting, it would quickly feel small, especially when people began using their stronger skills. It was inevitable that fights would spill into one another, resulting in a big free-for-all.

As Wintermaul was still looking around the room for who could have dared hurt Sylphie, something finally happened. After two and a half minutes, the door behind the throne swung open, and rather than reveal a portal, an entire back section of the throne room instantly appeared within Jake’s sphere as if it had spawned into existence.

Finally, Jake saw who he believed to be the Abundant Emperor, and as he did, his eyes opened wide in realization when he saw who else was there... because it appeared that, somehow, the number of Administrators who’d made it to this stage wasn’t ten but eleven.

Can I ask where everyone is at to be awake to read the new chapter the moment it comes out? Texas for me. Normally posts about 0615.

Brandon Yarberry

He probably completely bypassed everything and just appeared on the emperor's head. The real question is... Has the emperor noticed yet?

Jul Silver

Don't know about everyone else but East coast US for me.

The first thing I do when I get to work is catch up on reading this and several other stories that update while im asleep

Daniel Brian

I thought the Eastbound Monk was an elf? Might be some bad data from the wiki. Think the eleventh is Eron? I figured he wouldn't take part in this since it likely involved combat, and that's not really his thing.

Daniel Brian

Is it you with the Emperor, or Jasper?😁

Durz Argentum

It's around 1pm where I live when chapters are released

Quinn

Jasper?

Zimidiaz

"He was joined by ten other figures" shouldn't this be nine since Jake doesn't notice the tenth until the end of the chapter, and he wouldn't include himself as an 'other'

Fdrugc

Yep definitely.

CipherFTW

Cough cough I just left your cousins house. Sorry mate

Quinn

Normally about 650-710 am for me near Ottawa Canada

Siethrobo

Jasper or Jacob. Jacob's Augur powers got buffed in the simulation so maybe he divined some sort of way in.

Dave

Durz Argentum

Did you learn those potty words from Jake?! But yeah, that damn monk needs to pay for his crimes.

Lmao! You'd be lucky to hook up with my cousins.

Thanks Zogarth I’m looking forward to seeing how things unfold this week.

Alexis Cassaigne

Eternal shrine of the First Sage! > Speaking of others, as expected, Jake was not alone for this audience. He was joined by ten other figures By nine other figures* or is there some mind magic fuckery?

Phil Ritter

I mean the emperors might as well be the bound god tied to the world wonder and as such would immediately find the little trickster

Cyranosaurus

If it is Jasper that will be the best!!!! I also wonder where Sandy went!?!?

djthomp

The really important thing is that Earth stunts all over the entire rest of the competition.

Phil Ritter

Is it just me or does 11 people feel like to few? Either the puzzle was to hard and most didn’t manage to the Antichambers or something else is going on. Werent there like at least thousands in the statue chamber and only 10 Antichambers came out of that? I’d expect factions like the holy church to spread the word of the answer to the puzzle among their followers if they figured it out. Same with the risen and other factions. Maybe I just overestimated how many people made it through to the palace

McMuffin

Maybe kindroth?

Corvid

Aww yes, Emperor Sandy time

Joshua Morris

I want it to be Minaga so badly. But it's most likely Jasper.

Kota

Any guesses on what the Eastbound Monk's deal is? Him feeling so weak while at the same time beating countless peak talents with ease, and far easier than someone like Jake could manage, suggests a rather peculiar skillset. Some kind of damage reflection, perhaps? Turning a foe's violence and bloodlust back against them?

Demian Jörden

Europe, just like Zog himself. It's between 1 and 2 PM here.

Summer Coff

Didn't even go to the Central Domain

Gracie

tftc! 🏹🧙‍♂️⚔️

he probably just teleported out, while everyone was fighting and came back in the last moment lol

Xerecs

True I forgot about her offensive in the first area.

Dan

East coast and I work early morning shifts 🙃

CallHimDan

Honestly, not a clue who the eleventh might be. Jasper is a great bet. Vesperia?

Jamaal Hill

The monk from the coliseum of mortals attacked the soul of his opponents with each strike and block. Eastbound monk probably has some similar ability as a part of his skill set

Artemis

East Coast US- around 830 AM right now so a little bit later than it was posted

Que3sadil14

America getting ready for work

Killjoy

Hopefully it's Jasper and not the holy prick Jacob

Samuel Nelson

Arkansas. I usually read before clocking in.

zran

The inner region is a bad match for her skillset, she is more of a commander than a elite fighter(this does not means she is weak, just that place is not her arena), that is why she remained on conquering territories instead of going after the palace

C0bra$

Thank u for the story

Matt

The 11th person is obviously Jacob. There is no one else who could cheese his way through.

zran

We do now know how many people where in each anterchamber in detail, but it could be not odd if eastbound monk chamber was full to the brim to balance how broken he was, besides reaching the anterchambers was already hard between the teleport puzzle and needing to adquire a key item to have access to it, also a good portion probably decided to cashout their prizes on the altar instead of breaking it and pogress further

Matt

Most antechambers had 50 people or more. Multiply that by 10, that's 500 people that made it to the antechambers, give or take a few. Where it was then whittled down to just do... or 11.

maxi max

I Guess its gonna be B Grad Minga

Matt

Jacob

Matt

Sandy bailed before the fighting started in the antechambers

Matt

Vesperia is busy doing what bugs do, taking over territory, which she will give to Jake later.

whiskey

It’s 7 am EST and during the day in Europe, lot of people awake for it

zran

No, he is with miranda

zran

I doubt is vesperia or jacob, vesperia because we already know she decided to not go after the palace, and jacob because his path is not about combat

Bobby Bjfef0721

Best thing about Monday is I get coffee and a new chapter

Kaladorph

Part of my morning routine. Kansas city.

Xerecs

There is also no guarantee that the puzzle room with the statues remained nuetral and didn't just become a battleground from time to time.

Xerecs

An unhinged Wintermaul could be an advantage if they were to point him at the Monk while letting him know that it was the Monk who eliminated Sylphie. Not now of course as i'm sure someone would step in and stop anyone fighting in the throne room. If it comes down to it though I could see an unhinged Wintermaul throwing everything he can at the Monk giving everyone else the opportunity to see some if not all of the Monk's skillset.

Justin

Ok the projection can see everyone’s souls and that’s why he sees Jake as a lunatic aka primal who knows what a person like that might do!

rcischke

Zogarth REALLY needs to hire an editor. He makes enough money and given the constant errors and writing, it would be welcome.

Meadow

It’s 200% Jasper, or Sandy maybe

Meadow

6 AM I work early

CJ King

Thank you for the chapter

John

Nothing can stop the stealth tornado not even system fuckery

SetherAedekae

Utah. 5 am ish for me but I work til 6 am

SetherAedekae

Wait minaga should definitely be somewhere in this event right? If other universes can send people then a b grade minaga is def there

Silver

My prediction? Bug queen

SetherAedekae

Hope its minaga but know its Jasper or Jacob

Dustin

Germany 🇩🇪 around 2 pm

Joken

I don’t mind. This here is concept, not a full release. And most of us overread the errors because we know what is meant.

ABTelford

Utah, central USA. I sometimes catch it 2 or 3 am when I have bad insomnia. Otherwise 7:00 am when I’m eating breakfast.

ABTelford

Thanks for a great chapter! As always, a great start to my day. I can’t wait to interact with the monk - is he based off of the Journey to the West monk? 🙂

Kota

Huh, didn't think of Minaga. A capital error, obviously - who would ever voluntarily spend their time thinking about anyone or anything else but that incredibly handsome and charming guy? But seriously, right now I can't rhink of a reason why he wouldn't be able to participate. Unless the system decided to be a spoilsport and counts any version of Minaga as his maximum level...

Jasper

My guess as well. Vesperia getting the true royal treatment!

Coramoor

Minaga would surprise me because all of his Truesoul's share the same age which would probably disqualify him

Coramoor

I have a weird feeling that the King will hard counter the Eastbound Monk with his soul magic

Tribal

Definitely Jasper. Well the whole "family" is a menace to the multiverse but to break rules and get somewhere where they aren't supposed to be..... JASPER is your only logical pick.

Daniel Francis

UK also. So usually around midday for me.

Fyrtue

But she didn't even enter the central domain.

Daryl

Given how trivially the monk dealt with his antechamber I don't have much confidence in Wintermaul lasting long. Maybe I'm underestimating the elemental.

Daryl

So even in the simulation the Eastbound Monk regrets having to kill people? I wonder how a pacifist path leads to such powerful combat abilities.

Shop JPL

And Jacobs path is a mandatory non-combat class so it would make sense the emperor would give him an alternative way in.

Alex

Yeah, no. Each of the Daolords (i.e the gods who are directly below the Daofather in the hierarchy of the Dao Sect) has ‘soul’ in their title — the Lifesoul Daolord, the Soulfist Daolord, the Heartsoul Daolord, the Swordsoul Daolord, etc. There’s no fucking way that elites from the Dao Sect get countered by soul magic.

Corey Herington

Tftc that was a fully(little) too chummy with Sylphie, if just twenty had() would have made it turning his head towards the ice elementals(elemental)

zran

Sandy left the anterchamber when he got given the option, so probably back at his territory doing something

Alex

My guess is that we’ve got a superpowered evil side situation here. I think the normal persona of the Eastbound Monk is a hardcore pacifist who’s useless at fighting, but he has an ‘evil’ persona who emerges in battle that’s absolutely terrifying.

zran

Yeah, he is unlikely to defeat him, but.... He is definitelly someone who could show what the monk can do to a degree

SmokeJam

CEST timezone. Usually comes out perfectly for my lunchtime

Brian Kenny

Guessing Eron, system went someone who can't be killed is too op for the group fight

Thenais

Strong « solo leveling » vibe with the throne room. Hoping for a collaborative fight

yourstruly

In Buddhism, the most specific eastern association appears in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. The east is associated with Akshobhya Buddha and his pure realm, Abhirati. Akshobhya represents "immovability" and the "transformation" and therefore reflection and repelling of anger and disturbance into clear, mirror-like wisdom. So, I assume this is kinda where Zog might have been inspired from in his depiction and character build of the Eastbound Monk. I do not think the monk is some beyond pinnacle 93rd universe being so far beyond Jake but has a Path that is very suitable for, well, being immovable and for repelling and reflecting strife, and attacks overall?

Bi Dailey

My guess is the Eastbound Monk is an obligate pacifist except that he can attack in self defense, and he has a boost skill that scales off of how powerful the people attacking him are.

Xander

TFTC :) Hope everyone had a great weekend :) Eyyyyy Davians here :) Sure, he's gonna get "Worfed" but still... Suggested edits: "leading up to a *gaudy* throne, with everything made with *gaudy* designs" repetitive. Change either the "garish" "who really wasn’t a surprise to see. " awkward phrasing. Maybe "which wasn't suprising." instead. " that was a *fully* too chummy with Sylphie" should be "bit" " hands in *prayer*, looking upset more than anything while inside his own world *of prayer*. Repetitive. Ditch the last two words. " By how many geniuses had been slaughtered?" this phrasing doesnt seem quite right. Maybe ditch the "by" ? "turning his head towards the ice *elementals*, " should be "elemental". sure the GFK is turning his head towards the elementals head but still.

Xander

You hit yourself with the attacks you launch at him. Its not an attack from him just the consequences of your own actions. Possibly the attacks are changed in concept because jakes poison being reflected wouldnt effect him and the same for a dragons breath.

Xander

Erons combat abilities are shit and he was trapped in the treasure hunt, immortal or not, for days. We never saw him enter the palace did we? Guessing he never got here.

Ty Cooper

Lol it is going to be Jasper! Tftc

Ty Cooper

I really really hope its not Jacob

Dell

I usually wait around 6:15 my time before I head to work and then it shows up right as I’m about to leave. Usually a pleasant surprise, usually.

Dell

Then wouldn’t the golden forest king also get more than his special treatment?

Dany Ngouabe

Why does everyone seems to think the person has to have some special abilities to bypass all and reach there? Maybe it's been a permission given to him by the majordomo without any efforts. Remember the treasure gathering process. Who knows what could be found and their uses.

Joshua Little

Yes of course. I was going to guess Jacob with shenanigans but Jasper is probably a better guess. After all the Emperor has the best stuff to steal, so why wouldn't Jasper be with him.

joker ledger

Sandy bail the moment the announcement for the deathmatch was made lol. Unless they found a way to wiggle back in.

joker ledger

Honestly, I find Wintermaul a bit endearing when he cry out for Syphie like that. He might sound mature for an elemental, but he is still an elemental with rather short emotional fuse. The monk is getting more interesting by the day with how he act. He act so far like the opposite of Jake.

ABTelford

Now that’s an interesting theory - alt path for anti-combat class. Huh🧐

Tribal

Cause no other system event we have dealt with in the series never had special conditions to get to the boss or skip the steps of a dungeon or system event. If it isn't someone (Jasper) that has a special ability to bypass the security features of the system I don't see it being anyone else. If Jacob used his ability to find the best path.......with his deviation. That truly would be outside the norm of the series. I don't see it being anyone other than a member of Jake's "family" (creations)

Dhia

either is Eron the goat or Jasper the goat.

Syf0

Zogarth has an editor afaik, but for the book release. Patreon chapters get released basically right after he writes them. Patreon readers are the first line of editors. Zogarth hasn’t been shy about stating that, I’m pretty sure that is also listed in the Patreon tiers bevor subscribing. We get the chapters early in a somewhat raw form, but the published kindle version will always be the final polished version

Schneeente

I'm calling it here and now: the lovestruck wyvern will do something that saves Jake's ass when he fights the monk.

Adam Scott

It says “He was joined by nine other figures” so he plus nine = ten.

Gh0st-Hunt3r

Im gonna call it to be Jasper we haven't Heard anything about him since the garden when he took out the Mind Devourer Jellyfish !

Nick Wunderlich

Tom S

This whole story started with a group of jakes coworkers dropping into the tutorial if I recall correctly. The eastbound monk has been kept mysterious for the last few hundred chapters? I really wanted Jake to look over at him and say, "oh, I think that is Dave, from accounting. He sure was a quiet fellow, never could figure out how to collate his print jobs"
