We have this opportunity to do this really fun event, the Electric Kanna Karnival! There will be tons of weed (Michigan residents can sign up at the event), bubble soccer, unlimited carnival rides, and some jam bands, fire twirlers, and Nu metal Dj's.

We just aren't sure of how many of you would be in to it. The place is kind of remote. Clio, Mi and Bryan isn't sure if people like to camp or make the trip. It's $80 for the whole weekend and that includes your tent fee.

The more interest we have the more likely I can bring Chapo along and some other guests.

What do y'all think?

I'd be super excited to hear about y'alls experience there but I personally couldn't attend. 😔

Cody Tipton

Speaking as a person who likes good things, that sounds awesome. I personally wouldn't be able to make it this year though.

Matt

Same boat where I'm not available this year due to family stuff, but it sounds hella fun

Nicholas Kiersey

Bring the Sentinel garbage can, and I'll be there

Roman jaramillo

If there was some kind of carpool thing set up I'd love to go

Courtney Caldwell

I would totally go if I was in the area, but that's too far for me on short notice 🙁

Is this like a Bonnaroo type deal?

DivinePsilocybin

A particular time we have to show up on Saturday? I work early in the morning and would need to find a ride 🙁

false.city

Or better yet, is it like the Dark Carnival?

ComradeGarrett

I wouldn't be able to make it but it sounds like something that y'all could really use to pull people into the fold.

Well the show would be happening at noon each day. I think Sunday would be our "headliner" day because the farthest travelers will be traveling on Saturday. One day tickets are available as well.

streetfightradio

It's pretty damn close. I don't have the final lineup yet but DJ lethal and the DJ from slipknot are confirmed. Bubba sparxxx is a big maybe rn too

streetfightradio

Yeah it's going to be a great audience for us to get in front of. I am sure we will be there I just need to gauge interest so I know at what capacity that will be .

I'm interested. Is it $80 per person or per campsite? Split 10 or more ways and I'm in. I'd be willing to drive 3 people, 4 if they pack light.

ComradeGarrett

Best of luck! Sounds like a great way to get regular folks into this whole anarchy/socialism game.

Derek Mansen

I wouldn't be able to get there

Marvin K

I would be insanely into this, but it's just a matter of monetary logistics

Got it! In case you didn't know, Patreon lets you do poll posts now. That might be an easier way for you to get more data-y numbers like this in the future.

ugh dammit I'm only have 2 trips planned for this year. One is making me miss the 4/20 show and the other has me flying out of Cleveland on May 14th, the second day of the karnival.

Rigel G

I love camping, weed, and concert festivals, but there's no way I'm making it up to Michigan right now 😕

I'm looking into ways to make this cheap- that's a big concern for me too. There are at least two campgrounds within 20 miles of the fest: wolverine and otter creek with primitive campsites for $20 a night. Looks like admission for one-day passes is $28, two-day passes are $37-47 depending on whether you get your ticket before 4/20. If you get 4 people in a car (two tents), the cost of lodging for 2 nights would be $10 per person and transpo maybe $15-20 per person. So rounding up to cover very basic meals (could be flavored rice/beans, cabbage potatoes, peanut butter and saltines), cost could be like, $60 for one day, or $75-85 for two days. Not exact by any means and doesn't cover any incidentals. Just to give you an idea of how we could do this on the cheap. Its really a question of organization.

I'd love to hear you guys talk about going to this but I couldn't make it to MI from CT Honestly tho even if you can't get a lot of ppl to come with you from Ohio you could definitely convert a lot of festival goers to start tuning in. I believe in you guys!
