AnotherMinifigs "Comic" Superman (Patreon)

Hey look at that! I’ve got Superman minifigs coming out of my ears! 

When these dropped on Tracy’s site I knew I had to snag at least one! But for once, I actually grabbed some of the color chase variants too! …mostly because there was no preorder, and about $70ish per fig! Like that’s pretty killer in my book! A nice happy middle ground!

I’m not even sure what compelled me to go this hard for Superman (or other customizers these last few months that have been printing him) but I’m happy for it! :)

This sudo 90s inspired design comes straight from the Lego DC Supervillains Video Game. I remember back in 2018 when partner tie-in sets were due to release with that game, and all of us thought the official Superman minifig was gonna get an upgrade to look like this!

But nope! That never happened and Lego kept using the 2011 torso for some wild reason well into 2018 and still up to today for some baffling reason!

But here we are! AnotherMinifigs has brought the design to life in a dazzling presentation of colors!

Compared to all the other Superman figs we’ve been looking at this week, this design has struck the perfect balance of simplicity, design, and production work for me!

We got the yellow S on the cape! We’ve got leg print that isn’t to complicated and-

wait…
