JakaBrick's MCU(?) Deadpool (Patreon)

Ya know I’ve never particularly cared for Deadpool. In fact some could say that I loathe him. Others might even infer that I detest his mere existence and literally anything Rob Lifeld has ever “created”.

But Jaka… well Jaka convinced me that if I wanted their perfect little Wolverine fig I’d HAVE to buy a Deadpool fig too to get one.

So here we are!

I’m reviewing the very first custom Deadpool fig I’ve ever owned.

Now it ain’t Jaka if there weren’t a ton of killer accessories! I mean they didn’t have to include four pistols, but they did! They didn’t have to include four different heads but they DID! And all of the stuff we got here is great quality!

The texture work is great where it needs to be, and minimal where it isn’t! The gold is bright and shiny being so small, without a single smudge in sight! Right down to those two silver eyes on the belt buckle!

I think if there were any notes I could provide, they would be on the masked heads. They’re all a bit similar. While yes they’re all different expressions, those eyes feel like they could have used a bit more size for the shocked expression or the raised eye.

As for the Wade Wilson “Ugly Head”, it actually has more than just two layers of ink on it, so that’s pretty cool too! This whole fig didn’t need it, but Jaka went and made it anyway! And it looks great!

I also love those printed hands! Customizers really haven’t been taking advantage of printing the hands (because it's no doubt a real pain to do), and this fig looks really great for having them!

The guns are also nice, but they’re guns and they’re not Brickarms. So we all know they’re only going to be subpar compared to THE custom lego firearms molders this side of the Mississippi. But what Jaka produced here (particularly the drumlaqured gold ones) are still quite good! Maybe a little too action figure esq and not Lego enough, but they still serve their function

I am inclined to mention that the barrel’s of the guns are too small to port with standard Lego minipegs though…

But the SWORDS fit in the SHEATHS?! AND the whole kit uses magnets to attach?! Aaaahhhhh! Okay that’s cool!

Not only that, but they fit just fantastically well inside of the sheaths, with little resistance so the silver doesn't scrape away! And again… there’s a freakin magnet! Like oh my gosh dude! How much more versatile could you make these! Wow!

I hate this dumb character so much but I LOVE Jaka’s production work!

I paid about $105 if you split the Wolverine/Deadpool two-pack down the middle. And ya know what! With zero preorder and a great price for all the stuff we have here aaaand when you take into consideration Deadpool is the worst, I’m still extremely happy with this fig! 

Great work here Jaka! To think, this wasn’t even the fig I was that excited about! 🤣
