It was all in the subtle lighting (Patreon)

I really had to stay conscious of light sources, whether it be the torches on the wall or the cosmic cube or the other candles or Johnny or the coils or whatever, like if any of these weren’t lit in a way that makes sense in a realistic way, the whole photo would make your brain hurt and it wouldn’t be any fun to look at.

So using my trusty LED Desk lamp, and a couple of flashlights I basically sat in the dark for two hours and took close to a million photos until I got the lighting correct :P
