King Shark was probably one of the most unconventional Brickheadz I’ve built since Captain Cold and I could have in no way come up with such a wild assembly. Like I previously mentioned in yesterday’s post, I was inspired quite strongly by Stormythos and he deserves all the credit for the design!

I spent a solid three or four weekends more or less “studying” the few images they shared, all to reverse engineer Stormy’s design. Then it was probably close to another week or so just Bricklinking the parts I didn’t have.

I did make a few subtle tweaks to build it in physical form, but for the most part, stayed pretty true to the source material, and let me tell you it’s a stunning final build throughout! Just wow! It turned out great, and I guess since I cracked the code of his original build, it’s only fair you guys get to see the break down, right? :P

I was still short a Bricklink order when I took these photos so don’t freak out or anything that he doesn’t have eyes :)

Reverse engineering can be huge fun. But then come those that seem indecipherable, and that's when I'm very glad you've provided the break down. Thanks for doing the hard part!

Oh yes, this was a surprisingly mind-bogglingly complex reverse engineering job but man, it was very satisfying when finished :)
