The two-week BTAS extravaganza starts NOW! (Patreon)

You guys! Oh my gosh! I finally got all the review photos edited! It’s time!!!! Batman The Animated Series projects are right around the corner! Ahhh!

I have been very eagerly awaiting these two figs to arrive since the new year! Now they’re finally in my hands and wow! I couldn’t be happier! :)

So without any delay, let’s talk about them in excruciating detail over the next week! :)

Right out of the mailer, BlackStar is nothing if not consistent when it comes to presentation and the “unboxing” experience :P

These two were shipped to me from across the pond at minifigures.co.uk and I really can’t blame them for taking this route for the shipping (especially considering that they were produced and originally shipped from China)

Regardless, this weird fold-out cube/box just kinda had a lot of the parts floating around (with the exception of that front little window-flap that kinda/sorta held the figs in place)

I mean yes I totally get it, wanting to ship that big over-the-shoulder cape so the tips of it wouldn’t break and yes everything arrived nicely but… idk you really can’t beat a clamshell. When I picked the box up out of my mailbox and things were rattling around in there before I even opened it, my first reaction was not “wow so cool and sleek” it was more of a “eeeeh I hope the figs are all in one piece and not scuffed up”

And of course my hunch was right. Gladly they weren't scuffed up, but they were rather dusty straight out of the box…

But hey, I’ve sang this song about BlackStar and their weird shipping habits before, so why don’t we get on to talking about the figs!
