Now I’m sure you’re all wondering what the heck that red effect thing is behind Mr Murdock. Well it’s a neat trick I came up with… or maybe we should call it a cheat :P

However you wanna look at it, I used a non-lego/non-building-toy element in these shots! It’s a custom-made super thin plastic disc designed for proper action figures, and was produced by the fella’s over at canofbeams.com!

It’s meant to be pretty small and placed on the backs of heads with blue sticky tack, but in this context of taking it out of context. It’s huge compared to a minifig but still works quite well! Not to mention that it probably saved me a million years to edit the same concept into each of the shots :P

I used a bit of scrap sticker from the border of the Daily Bugle sticker sheet to get it to stick to the back of the fig (mostly because I had this hunch that blue tack would have been a nightmare to remove from this rather expensive official fig)
