What a great fig! Simplicity goes a long way and SJBricks really killed it with this one!

Honestly it really came down to two details for me.

The first being the very clean, and very very white eyes (which when it comes to pad printing on black plastic is something even official Lego figs struggle to maintain in quality)

And the second detail was the (also well printed) full wrap-around boots (including the bottoms of the feet)! That’s a great surprise for a cheap $40 fig!

Like this could have been just a simple front/back of torso, front/sides of legs, and a head print, but nope! SJB took the simplicity and really refined it to some quality craftsmanship with what little they were working with here!

When it comes to design translation they absolutely nailed the look of the Jack Kirby Black Panther design!

Not to mention they held NO preorders for this fig! It was sold ready to ship! Incredible! I absolutely love it! Honestly it’s the best praise I could give a customizer as the pre-order nonsense can sometimes feel like a toxic buying behavior for some like myself. When It was done it was done and I had it in hand less than a month after I ordered it from the UK! :)

Ironically keeping with the theme of simple, short, and sweet, that’s all there really is to say about this fig! It’s well done and one of those variants of a fig that I’ve wanted in my collection for a long time now! I’m happy to finally own one :)

‘nuff said!

I purchased their Walt & Jesse pair about a year or so ago, and they came printed on USED parts. I mean like really used. I get the idea that since they're supposed to blend with old school LEGO that maybe they would look better used. But, it was a real turn off for me and I immediately gave them away to a relative who is into old school and probably didn't even notice. Any sign that yours was printed on used parts--doesn't look like it...

Oh dang! Can’t say that’s happened to me with SJB, though it would make sense if the figs you got (being printed on yellow torsos) seeing as they’re a little harder to get a hold of for production’s sake *shrug*
