Abnormal's "The Batman" 5pk Review - The Batman! (Patreon)

Okay kiddos! It’s time for the dessert! The main event! The Batman of The Batman figs!

Abnormal did a great job translating this fig into Lego! With all the harping and gripes I’ve had this last week with the rest of the set, this fig is still the best of the five hands down!

I love the cape mold! It’s a good length, and the perforations look great! (shame about the collar tho) The cowl is excellent and lines up perfectly with the head print! The use of magnets for the shoulder pieces is genius and looks really great! It also adds more functionality in posing those arms up around the hard plastic cape! It's all SO good from a visual perspective!

Ironically, the broken cape piece is the only piece that isn’t torn up or scraggly on the inside of the element, unlike the cowl. …oof

But that print quality is excellent and the (dare I call it) hyper-subtle gold accent print across this fig is killer. It's not quite chromed gold, but it’s really really reflective!

I’m sure I sound like a replaying dead horse record (or whatever the kids say these days) but it’s a shame this fig didn’t come with any additional accessories or alternate heads to change up expressions!

In the end, what we get here’s is still pretty solid and truly the reason this set of five figs exists. Other than some minor quality control checks, this fig is basically perfect.

Not only does it show what Abnormal is capable of, but it also sets the bar for some future “The Batman” preordered figs from other brands to arrive (hopefully) later this year!
