Okay! So what’s our verdict for this huge set of custom minifigures?

$322 + $35 for international shipping so… it wasn’t ideal… in fact I was sorta pissed about it initially. Buuuuut if you do the math, it’s about $65 per fig so… ya know maybe not that bad in theory?

Some of those figs like Penguin and his lack of accessories I can totally see as a decent $70ish. While others like The Riddler with all their extra parts could rage up into the $100 bracket. So even a fig like The Batman himself with all the print layers and junk, it could probably reach up into the $120 range on it's own.

So in a way it averages out... at least at a glance.

Now that I finally have them in hand looking at all five in front of me... I don’t know if a $350 total price tag was worth it… but then individually looking into them I’m begrudgingly okay with it… But that quality control is rough man… I’m still mad about that Catwoman cowl!

In fact I’m irritated with the continual less-than-ideal quality control with Abnormal as a brand in general. They have these nearly perfect fig designs, then without a doubt there’s always one thing that’s majorly wrong with them like King Shark’s arms or Kingpin’s yellowish tint and smell, and now these five… all strong with a factory scent and broken pieces upon arrival…

But yet again at the other end of the pendulum, they all LOOK really great. Like holy smokes did Abnormal nail the Screen-To-Plastic aesthetic. Like for real, minus a few of the faces, these are just so nice to lay your eyes on!

So… yeah… mixed feelings for sure.

But what do y’all think? Did I make a huge financial decision I’ll never recover from? Or were my bad choices justified?
