A Colossal Comparison! (Patreon)

I said I’d get back to L1n6’s Colossus Fig, so the topic gets it's own post!

It’s interesting to see these two side-by-side, Ling’s has a very distinct look to it while Kyle’s has the Lego graphic design matched really well! Their fig looks like it could have come right out of an official Lego set when you look at them next to each other!

While I enjoy Ling’s gold trim and faint silver linework aesthetically, KO really looks more like it could fit in better with other figs (even more so if you’ve got a full set of KO’s other X-Figs)

KO also has the benefit of printing on the armor piece that really adds to the detail of the fig in a great way that L1n6’s just looks plain by comparison.

It’s a shame they have such different approaches to their fig design because there’s not much room to mix and match parts. Even simple head swaps have an odd vibe to them that do not quite fit the look for me.

All in all, I should still consider myself lucky to own not one, but TWO figs of this big Russian tin can!
