MrJ Brick's Classic Black Widow! (Patreon)

Wow! Somebody made a classic comic based Black Widow fig! Finally! And of course it’s MrJ of all customizers yet again bringing home the classics!

She looks great and that hair is wild! Even the wrist gauntlets turned out great! They’re a nice shiny gold and match pretty close to the print of the fig!

The only thing that was a bit weird were the two guns included that look like knock-off Brickarms. Now I don’t know my BA stock like some crazy people, but the sniper looks an awful lot like the old Halo 3 rifle to me. Also why does the handgun have a square-handle but the sniper has a round bar-handle?

Whatever it’s not a big deal. They honestly feel like freebies tossed in there! Let’s talk about the fig though! …or rather… the torso.

No printing on the legs for a figure that cost $65 feels a bit unfair. This fig probably didn’t neeeeed the leg print, and granted this was one of MrJ’s cheaper figs they've sold, but it’s still odd and feels like a Christo move to sell an expensive fig that’s only custom from the torso up.

I would have loved to see this one come down to something like $45 perhaps? MrJ could have even cut some corners and just included an official minifig head. Looking at the one included, I thought for a split second it was just an official minifig head but nope, custom printed.

Oh and another thing!

I’m a little bummed that the gold of the torso doesn't match the much better and brighter gold of the stun gauntlets.

Okay but that’s it I'm done with the review! I still like the fig and more so what I can do with it. I mean look at all the head and hair combos that can look good on this torso!

All in all, she looks great with my “new” YAFD/LeonBricks Hawkeye! Yet again MrJ has really staked their mark with another solid classic character!
