LifeBrick's Far From Home Spider-Man! (Patreon)

Okay here we go! LifeBrick Spider-Man week has officially begun!

Here we have LB’s beautiful rendition of Parker’s suit from Far From Home! As always, LifeBrick continues to blow me away with their quality and sharp printing!

The only thing that holds me back from them being a perfect brand in my eyes, is their custom parts. Last time I recall talking about an LB fig, the custom parts were yet again unimpressive, so let’s check those out first and rip the bandaid off!

This fig came with custom light brown hair, a thwiping left hand, and two masks (one for over the head and the other to hold)

All of these parts on a surface look really good! I’ve never been the biggest fan of the big mask “helmets” LB throws out there, but they’re always effective in what they’re trying to look like. Be it a bit snug most of the time.

This headpiece in particular continues the LB tradition of not fitting on a minifig without significant force to get it on. You’ll have to excuse me for not putting it on all the way… but uh... I’m not having another situation like last time… 

Oh and before I move away from it, this headpiece is a weird darker shade of red that doesn’t match the fig. So… like what the heck is even the point LifeBrick?

However the hair is nice though! It fits well and is shaped well! Looks exactly like little Tom Holland! It’s a little brighter than standard Lego Reddish Brown, but still works great! Not much else to say about it!

Now the print on this fig! Oh my GOD the print!

Look at that EXTREMELY intricate black on black textures LB managed to achieve! It’s absolutely incredible the microscopic scale at which they were able to print this fig!

You only can truly appreciate it in certain lights, but I think that makes it all the more special! I for one didn’t think it was physically possible to print this fine unless you’re using Christo witchcraft! But damn! What an achievement!

Okay but seriously there’s more to talk about!

The Peter Parker head is fun! I like the Edith glasses! It would’ve been nice to have also gotten a second worried or scared expression perhaps? LB figs have always had pretty stiff facial designs.

All in all, it’s a fantastic figure and I’m so so so lucky to have gotten one!
