This fig was UV Printed?!

Dude LifeBrick was on a roll for a perfect game this time!

I’m not happy!

I paid $90 man! $90 for a UV printed fig!!! This fig cost about ten bucks less than the other two and it was digitally printed?!

They didn’t even advertise it as a UV fig man! No where on reseller sites did listings note that it wasn’t PAD Printed either what the heck LifeBrick!?

*okay deep breaths… deeeeeep breaths…*

Ugh… sigh

Like… I don’t think I’d be as upset if it wasn’t for the fact that LB designs are so detailed! When you print a design like this digitally a lot of that detail is lost in a good chunk of lighting conditions.

That textured speckle that shows up drives me nuts when trying to photograph figs like that so I’ve more or less cut out UV printed figs from my collection. But to not even give people the option?! Just to have their resellers list a $90 UV fig is nuts!

For those of you not in the know, UV prints are cheaper to produce, faster to manufacture, and produced by projecting ink onto a surface rather than PAD printing that uses soft-surface stamping to create smooth surfaces on plastic.

Think of it like spitting ink out of a bendy straw vs using a nice soft lil stamp to dab.

…okay are we all relaxed now? Because guess what!

Not only was the UV a surprise, but one of the backpack straps was broken!!!!

So I paid $90 for what?!

Cheap figs with broken parts that I wouldn’t have even bought if it weren’t for the point of completing the collection only now the collection dosenteven match because two are pad printed and the other one isn?!?!

Honestly the only things that redeems this for me is the hair… that damn perfect hair.

Oh and the head I guess, which is oddly pad printed shockingly?!

Okay the biker helmet is nice too… and so is the backpack/hood… that is if it wasn’t hella thin and super broken >:(
