See I expected plenty of custom Bat-Figs to come out of this movie, but multiple Bruce Wayne’s is a bit of a treat! :)

However it’s a gonna be hard not to start off this review without acknowledging Abnormal’s Bruce Wayne that I’ve had for about a year now! I mean take it how you will, but this review is mostly about comparisons.

Anyway, on to the review!

Not only did this fig include zero accessories, it also came with some free gold… packing foil…?

Real good stuff yet again! This time a little more reserved than the previous LifeBrick fig (naturally). It would have been nice to get a second head with the sunglasses but what you see is what you get here. No secret details or parts or anything…

While LB only made 80 of this lil guy, the quality is still there! The hair is really the stand out element of this entire fig, but the facial design again is so damn good! Looks just like Battionson!

The suit itself is nice and LB did a neat job replicating the well worn tweed look with all the little fuzzy bits much better than Abnormal did.

Ironically it’s the same way MY clothes look if I’m in the same room as a cat for too long!

For Comparison’s sake, here’s Abnormal’s Bruce Wayne literally next to this new fig

This is a really great visual comparison to show just how weird Abnormal designs are (they’re indeed abnormal in a lot of ways!) I mean just look at the face prints! The cheekbones are funky, the eyes are too small, the mouth is too low…. it’s all a bit off… gives me the heebie geebies with hindsight on my side.

But hey, at least the hair shaping is nice! LifeBrick’s fig looks great with both of those hair pieces!

I even threw the LB Head/Abnormal Hair combo on my upgraded official Lego fig and it looks pretty slick!

Actually, come to think of it...  it makes me think that maybe LifeBrick’s custom hair is was too bright(?)

idk that’s more up to interpretation I suppose! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh and while we’re on the topic of parts, this new LifeBrick fig makes for some good Superman figs too!

All in all though, this LB Bruce Wayne is a good complementary fig, but is probably not worth the same price as the main Batman fig! Right?!

I mean I guess you could argue the angle of “Oh it’s a limited run so it’s worth moreeeeee” (only 80 were made vs the full 120 for Batman - sold only as a pair with the bat suit)

I still think LB could have done more with this. More accessories like a riddler card or something, alternate face prints like the sunglasses… something more to justify that price!

But I digress, we still have one more fig to review tomorrow!
