There is a real sense of refinement here when you look at these two figs side by side.

I mentioned in an earlier post how these figs were around seven bucks apart in price, and it's amazing how just a little bit of care put into a design and it's quality can go a long way!

Credits to both of these figs are deserved! It's no small feat to print a fig! L1N6 Managed to very nearly color-match official lego plastic orange for a fig that is primarily printed over a dark plastic like reddish-brown fig. Lighter shades of PAD printed ink can take several layers to get a final product like this! Tricky stuff! Not to mention that L1N6 has struggled with color matching in the past, so in some ways they’ve improved a little in their production quality this time.

But MrJ/Jin’s fig! Wow dude! It just blew them out of the water in every other respect!

It’s hardly a comparison given how different these two are. But hey, that’s the nature of the custom minifig collecting scene! Kind of a crapshoot sometimes!

We sure got lucky with that second fig, eh?
