Ableton Live / Resolume Arena Arrangement, Bliss RMX (Patreon)

this is a comprehensive arrangement. you can see how I create music videos using ableton live and resolume arena. I am using a virtual MIDI cable to send signals from ableton to resolume. I am using Ableton LINK to synchronize playback and BPM in both apps. I am using loopMIDI (virtual MIDI cable) to control effects and trigger clips. please let me know if you are interested in a ableton / resolume tutorial

it works like this:

1) add music WAV to ableton2) set BPM and match music to the grid3) divide audio file into chapters (2nd line in the screenshot)4) in resoume create one or more columns of content for each chapter with clips and effects5) midi notes trigger colums in resolume (first line in the screenshot). one resolume colum after the other is triggered. there are KEEP clips that will keep the current clip playing. so no change is happening in this layer on column change.6) control master effects in resolume using automations curves in ableton. for example: speed, color control, ... these curves can be drawn or recorded live with a midi controller. I am using a nanoKONTROL2.7) playback and record audio and visual with OBS
