Sorry this is a long comment 😅 “Ember to Solar” was seriously EPIC!! 🔥 That stage floored me, and I totally agree it gave me major TVXQ vibes too! Especially the chorus! Also, that short “PASSAGE” was composed by Yoon Sang (Anton’s dad), which makes it feel extra special 🧡 “INSIDE MY LOVE” is hands down my favorite. It fills my heart every time I hear it 🥹 That final part with Wonbin and Sohee? I’ve also replayed it so many times. “Fly Up” was such a strong title track! Not my top RIIZE title, but I’m definitely vibing. It’s so musical and one of those songs I could listen to every day. “The End of the Day” finally a ballad! 😭 Stunning vocals and those early-gen K-pop vibes. It’s such an SM song in the best way. I’m a sucker for that era, so it really hit home. RIIZE’s discography never misses, and this album feels like the start of a whole new era for them. So proud of how far they’ve come 🥹 Thank you so much for the reaction, Jeff! Everyone needs to hear this album. This easily my favorite of the year. I genuinely love every track 💯🧡👏 SM is indeed a messy sh*t company, but when it comes to the talent and music? They always deliver next-level quality! PS: Thank you so much for the Wonbin appreciation. He really worked hard, and it shows. 🫶

SM’s formula is basically: find the best talents (always make sure they have amazing vocals), then let them bring to life whatever music they produce. And honestly, it works! Haha, when you have strong vocalists, you can basically pull off any kind of song. Such a treat. That’s why SM artists always have impressive discographies 👌 and crazy versatility.

Jeff! Happy you’re feeling better. I hope you know how appreciated you are for the time and effort you always give in your work and reactions. I’m so happy you’re back to reacting to Riize, honestly always love hearing your thoughts on them. I hope you can check out the new episodes of Riize & Realize if you get the chance. There’s some really good content on the journey they’ve gone through preparing for this album that I think you’d enjoy. I will say, as someone who too felt so much pain with everything that’s happened with Riize, seeing how much they poured into this album not only made my heart swell with pride, but also reminded me of why I fell for them in the first place. I can’t imagine how emotionally traumatizing everything was for all of them, but both Riize and Xeunghan’s resilience is beyond incredible. I can’t help but respect and love all of them for how much they persevere through all the highs and lows. I was lucky enough to see their first concert here in Seoul, and man I couldn’t help but cry my eyes out (it’s funny you said that about Inside my Love cause I was in TEARS hearing it live). I think you’d really enjoy watching the concert as well, especially the monster cover I DIED. If you want a copy of the livestream I’m happy to share, just lemme know :)

this album is honestly a rebrand.. Riize and Xnghan finally found their colorss.. hopefully they will interact soon but knowing how toxic both fandoms can be, we won’t be seeing it😫.. pls react to Xnghan too- you said this is Riize’s “reborn” -Seunghan’s solo debut is also his reborn🫡

There will be riize concert tour in Uoct/nov 2025. I think watching their performance might give you passion/healing after those past event. 🥰 FYI: from the start, wonbin is in the part of vocal line (2nd most singed in their song). But i agree with you that he has improved so much especially his chest voice which he had mentioned before that it is his weakness.

Thank you! I miss watching u reacting to Riize. I have so much love and attachment to them since I’ve followed the members from Last Start to now. Love this album so much. The vocals is chef’s kiss. And I agree with SM and the type of music that they produce. I think most SMTown stans have such love and hate relationship with SM so I get u lol. I hate the company but love their artists. Looking forward to more Riize reactions😄

I think it was the same for me. The trauma part you mentioned. I listened to Riize today for the first time in almost a year, and I kid you not, I cried. I felt so silly, but what happened really hit me. Seunghan was my bias in Riize, I was following him since NCT Universe. I was looking forward to his and the other boys and their debut in NCT, but Riize happened and I was just as engaged. I stopped listening to them not because I wanted to boycott. I had other favorites in the group, I was rooting for their success just as much as I was rooting for Seunghan. But I just... Couldn't. I felt disconnected from the group, as if they weren't for me. You know? As if I wasn't the target audience the company wanted to reach. It's weird to try and explain how I felt, but listening to them, watching their content... It hurt a lot. Now that he's debuted and is happy with the way his career is turning out, even with his tiny ass fandom and his low ass Youtube views hahaha we've crafted a safe corner for him, and I felt like thinking about Riize hurt a little less than it did in the past. I sat down and watched their newest releases, and I couldn't help but cry lol I'm happy they're beyond successful in Korea, and that whatever plan SM had for them is working really well.
