Oh my wooorddd. What an intense couple of episodes! They are really raising some deep questions with their themes. Very thought-provoking.

That monster scene broke my heart .. I cried my eyes out

1. The gangster is still alive and is holding the monster hostage in that body (Stated at the beginning of episode 1 when the monster says in the soldier truck “He’s still alive because of me”) 2. I believe the lady and the soldier are family cause the older lady calls out the son/grandson/soldier name and tells him not to do it, not to shoot. That’s why he looks back at her. He kills himself when he sees her dead. 3. I believe the little girl dies cause her ears aren’t covered. Even the girl who lit the fire had blood coming out of her ear cause she had to let go to start the fire. The woman with the little girl had her ears covered but the little girl was just standing between the lady’s arms, ears uncovered.

1. ohhh- i thought it was from the monsters perspective when he said that. that the gangster is alive because of the monster inside. kinda like what happened with the grandma back in the apartment when he took over her body 2. omg that’s so sad 😭

Btw it's not a spoiler per se but don't fret if you see Song Kang very less in this season. He was actually co-filming My Demon while doing this and so he appears less in S2.

regarding the little girl, jeff was actually right. she died because the guy strangled and snapped her neck (you can hear the sound but it's too subtle). she's already unconscious when the old man carried her.

I think you mistook the conversation between the two soldiers..the soldier who asked the other to kill him the way he did his family was abandoning the fellow soldiers who died, sacrificed their life and was taunting the other soldier bringing up his past while the other one wanted to play respects to the fallen soldiers so he didn't kill the other soldier, took the dogtags and burned the bodies like a funeral.
