After watching your analyses, I honestly think you’d make a great performance director. You have such a sharp eye for details, and the way you explain each moment shows real insight. I’m really looking forward to your next reactions and hearing more of your thoughts. Keep going, you’re truly incredible at this!

Absolutely agree with Lunar ; I think Ballet is always very interesting to watch because it's somehow more spectacular technically so I agree with you. But yes, the contemporary dance was nearly flawless. Although my favorite dancer is in the Korean dance x) But I feel like the upcoming episodes are even more interesting as they are going to mix genres

My ranking for this mission was: 1. Contemporary 2. Korean Dance 3. Ballet Ballet was BEAUTIFUL, but I felt the same as you that it felt more like a performance video rather than a Dance Film. Also no one really stood out except the ones that were mentioned and I find that in the other two genres the chemistry was more intact with the whole group instead of only 3 or 4 standing out which I think was a shame for ballet even though it's one of my favorite dance genres. The judges where present at the shoot, because they are the choreographers and film directors so they have to be there to oversee the shoot. Like someone spoiled already they will indeed mix everyone but the hidden gems will be amazing especially when they need to dance a genre that is not their forte but you will see that in the next episode and like I said before, be prepared to laugh A LOT haha.

Thanks for the reaction! My ranking would be ballet > contemporary > korean dance but I loved all 3 dance films.

I loved the contemporary and ballet dance films the most. There was something lacking in the Korean one and I believe the choice of the king might have had an impact. I'm no professional and know nothing about ballet, but I couldn't get my eyes off Gyeon-ho during the dance. I think he exuded the devil swan perfectly and should have remained in the 1st class. What I'm not ok with is the time screen for the other 1st class leads that were not the main leads. They went through a tough audition to secure their first class position but the supporting main roles got more screentime than them. The only genre where I felt it was somewhat equal is ballet. The white swan had a section for him and was shown for a decent amount of time. Thanks for reacting!

still haven't finished the episode, but to answer your question-- matthew's position is "rehearsal director" so that's why he's present during the filming of contemporary dance! as to why he wasn't present during the filming of the other two, i'm not too sure. could be the same filming days + contemporary being his forte. the judges in this show are more like mentors imo. there are behind the scenes videos on youtube and you can actually see some of the mentors attending rehearsal days and even leading warm-up and practice sessions. and of course, they choreograph a lot of the routines too. it's nice to see!

I actually did not expect the contemporary film to be that good!! And the ballet audition was just chaotic omg So excited for the next episode!
