Gahh the song selection in this season is actually so good. 'Me After You' changed my lifeeee! It's like watching for the first time cause I don't remember a lot of these lol Especially the drama.

Note! EP 5 only has the side segments not the ranking announcement but I did cover the Top 10 placements and talked about what I thought etc. EP 6 is full.

PS. Filming ep 2 of Reply Highschool today!

If incase you want to hear more of WOODZ’s rap, you can check this out: 😊 (He used to go by LUIZY when he first debuted solo with this song, before rebranding to WOODZ.) LUIZY x FLOWSIK – Recipe https://youtu.be/ZdmFyyvJviw?si=X_SeXXW4mRaXBCcK

mnet survival shows i believe all have the same format in a sense 1st mission - signal song 2nd mission - group battle (where the center/whoever chosen will choose their teammate) 3rd mission - position battle (this is where the trainees who rank the highest get to choose the song they want in order of rank; though bp tweak a bit where they allow people to push out, and bp2 where they limit 2 3 stars and 2 2 stars in one group. 4th mission - concept evaluation (this is where like u said, the fans vote for the songs they want their idol to perform) The concept in picking teams are q similar so I see why it is confusing haha. also regarding the sihoon-wonjin conflict, they did not show anything besides sihoon voted to being the leader who will lead the choreography and wonjin and hyungjun knowing how to choreograph. so i do not see why wonjin and hyungjun cannot help choreograph, but yes they should discuss which part to choreo first to prevent this kind of conflict. This reminds me of pd101 season 2 get ugly team as well where almost all of them are choreographers and there was a conflict in style (popping, b-boy and some other genres) which leads to bigger problems when choreographing despite having a leader which supposedly need to lead the choreography. "Too many cooks spoil the broth" kinda scenario This is why I completely agree with you as to how when we are planning formation or choreography, the choreographers should come together and work (maybe some parts separately but mostly together so any suggestions and ideas can be immediately discussed, compared to splitting up then when coming together there is bound to be conflict due to choreo not being accepted, difference in stylistic and many other reasons.

ya I was assuming they just voted sihoon to lead and choreo the entire thing cause I dont think someone like sihoon who feels very savvy, would say yes to the others being able to choreo without telling them which parts to do. so it looks like wonjin just really put himself in that predicament. ofc this could've been mnet editing.

I'm surprised you think center/leader is more of a faux pas today than it was back then. Especially since I feel like there's never an emphasis on it when it happens anymore. But I mostly only follow mnet survivals, is leader/center being one person still a big deal on other survivals? I will say the reason that happens a lot this season is bc of drama the season before. Big dramas surrounding the earlier episodes of produce 48 were instances of the audience being frustrated with who became center in certain performances bc the most competent trainee (in their eyes) wasn't given the role since their teammates felt it was unfair bc they already had another important role (leader or main vocal). A lot contestants of this season are very mindful of what happened and you can see it in the center discussions. By the way the produce series never had international voting. If I remember correctly that was a big complaint this specific season bc mnet marketed this season's group as their first global group. Some ppl think that's why they rigged this season so much more than before, they wanted members more popular globally without global voting lol.

if I can remember correctly, wasn't there an instance in one of the boys planet seasons where one trainee got both L and C but was kinda labeled as selfish? I forgot whom it was. that was mainly my reference. I haven't watched produce 48 so Im not familiar with that season but it's interesting what happened which affected x 101. also wow no global voting for a supposed global group
