it’s gonna take awhile for me to be able to separate evan and enhypen. it’s not gonna be easy for me to completely stop talking about enhypen on an evan video and vice versa when there is a relation especially this early on.

i know a lot of engenes would want that separation given the different theories going around but we all process things differently.

in the recent years where kpop is changing so fucking much, i hope people are more understanding of how fans move on. some will be fast at it, and some will take a little longer. kpop has been a huge part of my life for the last 6 years and have loved so many groups. it’s truly not easy to be adapting to this much change.

so yes i’m sorry if i will talk about enhypen on an evan video and vice versa, im sorry if i will talk about seunghan on a riize video, im sorry if i will talk about cbx on an exo video, im sorry if i will talk about and2ble in a zb5 video and so on.

when people say kpop is life, this is literally mine. it’s my full time job. i consume it daily. i’ve been attached. so this is going to affect me in ways a lot of people may not understand. i don’t react to kpop just for the sake of reacting or content. i am very picky with what i watch and if you see it uploaded, i have invested interest, time and energy to that artist or group or content. it doesn’t just go away when there is an official statement released. even when idols end up with confirmed allegations, it affects a lot of us. it’s called betrayal. and that hurts even more.

sorry for the rant. i got triggered by a comment/post. i’ve been at this for a while and so i don’t really take comments particularly to heart, but some people just want to erase history so much and i just disagree. our history does NOT define us, but it does shape us.

You shouldn’t even be clarifying this to us. Hee was apart of enha for basically 7 years its apart of his legacy and he’s a Big reason (same with the rest of the boys) enha is who they are today. I think it’s unreasonable for people to expect others to not mention him in any videos regarding enha

Clearly, the type of people that make comments like that are avoidant amd don’t know how to deal with complicated, thoughts, feelings, or situations very well. They are in the wrong comment section if they can’t handle nuance.

100% agree with this take. Even when group lineups change, after knowing a group for a long time, it’s hard to adapt to new changes. Heeseung leaving was, and still is, really difficult for me. They were my comfort group (super parasocial I know 😅) so to have him leave was really sad. Apart from Enhypen though, comparisons in groups and between groups is only natural, especially if they have related history (as you were saying with EXO and cbx, or ZB1 and and2ble, and many other groups) If people are seriously putting up a fuss about comments made commenting on similarities or differences between groups or soloists, then they need to go outside and touch grass. K-pop is serious to me, and it’s practically all I consume currently, but if it gets to the point where someone is getting offended or just hateful toward a reactor or anyone for that matter, then they need to take a step back. Comparisons are made for everything in life. It’s literally part of being human. 😓

You are absolutely valid with your feelings and not being able to separate former members from their former groups especially this early in their solo careers. Don't pay attention to toxic fans and their negative comments.

As a VIP, I can't even put into words how much I understand your sentiments...

I 100% agree with the thoughts you expressed in the recent reviews you made on Enha and Evan, as well as the "rant". You are sincere, incisive, and also entitled to your own opinion based on your observations and past knowledge of happenings in the kpop world. There is absolutely no need to apologize. Keep up the good work!

I completely get this Exo was the first kpop group I seen it was monster and I loved there group but ever since they kinda kicked CBX out it just ruined Exo for me now I can't watch there new stuff now without them I know I'll probably get hate for this but it's just my opinion

KC

It’s so sad that you have to apologize for this. I’ve always loved your reactions and your reactions since the separation was just REAL. We can’t expect to cope overnight lol the group’s been together for years. With so many things going on, I hope people just try to be more understanding and kind. Don’t worry, I’m sure more fans are with you on this.

I truly appreciate your words. It is very difficult and painful for me to believe that there are people who so easily accepted «his» decision and let him go. Some even completely stopped supporting him and started hating him. In short, most genuine fans are convinced that he will return after promoting his single, that he will be present in the OT7 comeback, and possibly even join the tour. Yes, maybe we are being delusional, but we are simply looking at the whole situation honestly and carefully — at all the theories, facts, and hints. We consume OT7 content and fully immerse ourselves in everything we are given. And I want to say that everything seems to be leading toward his return. I do not want to write too much, so I will simply thank you for your opinion and say that we are waiting. There is only one more thing I would like to add: please watch his latest video, Overflow (lyric video). If you watch it carefully, you may understand that it was actually beneficial for the company to follow the lore, which is why they sent him on a solo path, and that it was not his own decision.

Honestly Im very avoidant and even I dont know what tf they are talking about. The way the whole departure was handled is just a whole mess and theres a lot of reason to believe some bts fu**ery was going and we certainly dont know the whole story. I am no engene and I had casual interest in Enhypen and might have gotten into their discography soon but I cant support the company as things are now so I wont consume Heeseung or en6 content. And of course a fan/reactor thats followed the group for years knows him as a member of the group and has every right to talk about him in that context. What are they mad about that were not brainwashed enough to immediately follow every company demand they make for their convenience? Insane.

Rioz

100% im with you.
