A little rambley (when isn't it?) - and I'm sure I got some of Absalons hemmelighed details wrong, but oh well - here's me yapping about some of my feelings towards this season.

Dude, I– 🙈 I honestly couldn't focus for a good minute cause I was too distracted by the mention of "Absalons." I didn't know Denmark had a story related to it. It's so fascinating!✨ That name is a little 🤏 dangerously personal to me 😂 Now I'm even more curious about the show! So cool, man, so cool! I would've loved watching them 🥹 And you finding meaning for the holidays for yourself is equally cool, my guy! 🥰 I can't help but smile at how pure these thoughts are. 🤍 You're such a good kreechur! 😂 No, but for real... These intentions are so beautiful, I fully support it. 🥹 Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Mr. Crumch! You're lovely and deeply appreciated! 🫂💖 You're adding to the reasons I feel proud to be human. 🤭 Rest well, Dear Sir 🌸 Sending you warm thoughts, cuddles and kisses~

Yall. Crunchy's singing. He's singing and it's ✨️gorgeous✨️ and I've fallen in deep, folks 🫠 Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your relationship with the holidays, along with your desire in spreading the holiday cheer (yadda yadda not the only thing we're spreading yadda yadda). I've been thinking something similar lately with my relationship of the holidays, and how should I approach it this year. Similar to you, my younger years comprised of family members, immediate and extended, coming together and celebrating. It was a time where we all felt united, where all troubles were washed away for a while and focusing on the love and care that we had for one another. Eventually, that died down around my early teen years due to many complications, and it's only during the past few years where I've been rummaging through my brain and try to rediscover that love and cheer I knew as a kid and bring it to my present life. To put it short, it's still a work in progress, but it's good progress at least from where I was last year. However you decide to spend you time this holiday season, I hope it's a sweet and gentle time to you. You deserve to feel that cheer that you want us to experience along with you. If you start to randomly feel a warm sensation on your skin about 2 weeks from now, it's me from the future mentally giving you a hug 🫂 Sleep tight, Crunchy. Let's hope your brain gives you sweet and lovely dreams tonight 💙

YOOO! This after my finals is just what I needed😋😋

that’s a really sweet intention 🥰 it’s cool to learn about danish christmas traditions, and that story sounds beautiful. the holiday season is a little bittersweet for me this year as i lost three grandparents this year, and their absence feels especially strong during the holidays. however, i’m still enjoying the holiday season and will be looking at christmas lights at a neighborhood with some friends this weekend which i’m looking forward to! i would highly recommend that activity if you haven’t done it already, there’s typically specific neighborhoods/streets that go all out. sometimes there’s families selling treats and hot cocoa and even some carolers at times. the holidays have definitely changed as i’ve grown older, but i still feel like certain traditions never fail to lose their magic ✨ goodnight crunch 🌙

i’m not religious so i shouldn’t have any reason to celebrate christmas - i just like the aesthetics of it all, so i always start decorating my room with christmassy things n making a christmas playlist each november✨ i’d like to think it’s the best way to cheer ourselves up to survive the cold months, so keep the holiday spirit alive, and spread it around 🎄 and i’m so glad i have y’all as company this year 💕

Nooo!!! Why did we stop the singing? Bring back the singing, man! You sound so beautiful when you sing, Crunch. 🤍 I’m feeling a bit sad because I really wanted to watch it. I tried to see if there is any streaming service out there with eng subs, but I came up empty. It’s always such a joy to watch cozy Christmas movies, especially knowing how much they mean to someone. There’s something magical about a movie that holds a special place in someone’s heart—it creates this shared warmth, even if it resonates differently for each person. Sigh. I had a thought—maybe you could do a watch-along, on steam, or audio like you did with The Princess Bride, but explaining the scenes as they happen? Unfortunately I realise iit will take away a bit of the “magic.” Then again, if you wanted to watch it and share your thoughts with us as it goes, I definitely wouldn’t say no ^-^ Christmas these days feels different than it did when I was younger. But, even so, there are parts that still hold that same special magic—the simple things, like soft lights glowing in a dim room, baking cookies, lighting the fireplace, roasting chestnuts, or curling up by the fire with a good book and a warm cup of cocoa. I remember a coffee shop in my city—it was pretty far from where I live, but I’d get up early, take the bus, and buy their special holiday chocolate. They only brought it out during Christmas, and I can’t even explain it—everything about it, from the smell to the taste, felt like Christmas captured in a bag. Unfortunately, the shop closed years ago, and no matter how hard I try, I’ve never quite managed to recreate that perfect taste or smell. Sigh, nostalgia really has a way of sneaking up, doesn’t it? It’s funny—I just realized that here in Greece, we don’t really have any local Christmas movies. Ha, I never had realised up until now. Hm. Anyway, while we may not have those, one thing that was never missed from my holiday routine was The Muppet Christmas Carol and Scrooge. The old, classic version of Scrooge has this bittersweet, eerie charm that’s always resonated with me. Sadly, no channel has aired it for years, which is a shame because it holds such a special place in my heart. I’m yapping again! When I think about Christmas as a child, it was always about family—immediate and extended—all coming together to celebrate. It felt like the whole world paused, and everyone managed to get along. Of course, as I grew older, I realized there was always some kind of fight at those gatherings—every single time without fail! Funny how kids never notice that sort of thing. Now, I try to keep the tradition alive, but on a much smaller scale. Since I’m always the host (big house perks, haha), I figure if I’m going to put in all that effort, I want it to feel worth it. So, I keep it intimate: my brother, his kids (who are my absolute world), our parents, and maybe a cousin or two. Is it exhausting? Oh, absolutely. But it always leaves me with that warm, content feeling afterward. Ripe old age, you say? Ihihihi. Cliché? MAybe~ but we’re big fans of clichés around here. I dont think its insane wanting to share good feelings. There’s nothing quite as beautiful as seeing that spark of joy light up someone’s eyes. Thank you, Crunch, for always keeping us in your thoughts. I’m not sure how much or how well we can give that back to you, except by simply being here and soaking up all the sweetness you share with us. But maybe that’s enough, right? Sometimes, just being present is all that’s needed. Wherever you choose to spend your energy this season, I hope it’s something that brings a smile to your handsome face and leaves you feeling warm and fulfilled. Ah, another long comment from me. One of these days, I swear I’ll learn to leave a “normal” comment instead of these deranged essays. I SWEAR!!! Until then, I’m sorry—bear with me! This was so sweet to listen to. I always love learning something new about Danish holidays from you—thank you for sharing that. I hope everyone is having a gentle time wherever you are. You are sweet. Wishing you the sweetest dreams, Crunch. Sleep tight, and when you wake up, may your day be lovely and bright. Mwah, bye! 🤍🌺

I just remembered something we used to do when I was little. The night of the day after Christmas (the 26th) we would bring our sleeping bags into the den and have a little campout. All four of us (Mom, Dad, sister, me) would sleep all night in front of the glowing Christmas tree. 🎄❤

Me when Crunchy sings to us: 🫠 Me when Crunchy says, "I know you like it": 🫣 Me when Crunchy spreads Holiday Cheer: 🥰 Thank you 💕

I love when my patreon doesn’t show me things… but this will be fun to listen to! 🫶🏻

The singing at the beginning is so sweet, what do we gotta do for some more~? I've always found it so soothing to listen to people hum or sing a song that brings up a little bit of nostalgia. 💕 Christmas/ winter season has always been something kind of special to me as a kid: decorating everything in festive lights around the house, a collection of my mom's favourite Harry Connick Jr. holiday CDs playing on the stereo, and baking cookies with my grandmother. It's become more subdued over the years, but I always look forward to having my dog unwrap his gifts; he's very enthusiastic about the unwrapping process 😆 Watching Danish holiday shows sounds a dream, all curled up on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn and a yummy drink. Hopefully there's something else that has English subs, but I also don't mind listening to to you talk about them. 🥰Christmas shows always seem to hit different, and I remember there was always a channel on the tv that had classics like the stop-motion Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and animated Frosty the Snowman, and A Charlie Brown Christmas. They're always about a sense of togetherness or community, and I think you're doing a very admitable effort at sharing a sense of company for this holiday season. Feeling seen and feeling heard and understood is a very valuable thing to offer, and I think you do it very well. So, if that is how you're investing your energy and sharing it with others, I think it counts as spreading cheer. ☺️ (Also, more cromchy singing xmas songs pls? 🥺 or just more singing in general, it's very lovely to hear~) Sending kisses back, -cor 💕

Love the singing, love listening to you sharing your thoughts (I know I’ve said it like a thousand times already, but I mean-), love all the cosiness. I have mixed feelings about Christmas for a lot of reasons, but my brain isn't braining enough at the moment to try and put everything into words. I hope though that it will be a good one this year with the part of my family I'm celebrating with! Wishing you all the best 💜
